  1. Its a seriously good ski, super easy to ride with bullet proof offside turns.
  2. I had a discussion with a very good skier and friend out of Germany about Nate and he summed it up better than most when he said don't try to work it out "some dudes can just ski" ...
  3. D3 way out in front but how does it look for the rest of the ski manufacturers? Anyone have any data on this?
  4. Only ski that I could run 11.25 on, so easy to ride and once its dialled in you just forget about it and ski.
  5. Long term issues with cervical stability from skiing so currently no plans to ski ever again. Ongoing balance and vision problems that I would not wish on anyone.
  6. Clearly the best skier ever with daylight in second place..
  7. Those sneaky Kiwis.. Coming to a sport near you soon. The New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard is poised to make history and headlines, as well as significant controversy, after being confirmed as the first transgender athlete to compete at an Olympic Games. The 43-year-old, who will be the fourth oldest weightlifter at an Olympics, is regarded as a genuine medal contender in the women’s super heavyweight 87kg-plus category in Tokyo. But while her inclusion has been welcomed by trans groups, it has also been questioned by those who believe she has unfair advantages in strength and power, having gone through male puberty before transitioning in 2012. Speaking after her selection was announced, Hubbard, who won silver at the 2017 women’s world championships, said she was delighted to make the Olympics after recovering from a serious arm injury at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/jun/21/olympics-tokyo-laurel-hubbard-trans-weightlifter-new-zealand https://www.dailywire.com/news/like-a-bad-joke-female-competitor-reacts-to-trans-weightlifter-competing-in-olympic-games?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro&fbclid=IwAR08NGoIyjdLnCMP66Bl8OZSEtc9XARGMnfUxLqsd1Ylxm-wCo3J081Ny0U
  8. Tuna and drain cleaner I was told, just leave it bubbling in the can.
  9. I've read there are about 20 moving parts in a Tesla. 2000 moving parts in a traditional ICE.. I don't power generation as an issue that can't be solved, if you are half smart you will find a way to offset with solar or something. You can't get oil from the sun or wind last time I checked..
  10. Gas powered transportation will soon be looked at like Nokia phones.. I can't wait for all these electric toys to take over, even aviation is investing in electric tech now. Wheels will be optional one day in the not to distant future..
  11. @Horton nailed it. The bigger you are the shorter the line you ski the more you feel in both systems, PP and ZO.
  12. Who gets their lake water tested, how often if ever? Or do people just ski and assume its ok? Chatting to an ex pro skier about this who got really sick years ago after competing on a pretty suspect site, skin sores, rashes and weight loss. Recovery was long and slow..
  13. If you apply some discipline and do this one "correct thing" at the end of the turn then a sequence of events pretty much just happen as a consequence of that one thing. If you don't do the "correct thing" you will spend your life wondering how the hell good skiers run short line.
  14. The new GT just delivered a new era of brain damage for skiers to tinker with. I can already see the new whisper tail coming...
  15. With respect unless something has changed a Lewis is a pile of junk compared to a Malibu / MC / Nautique.
  16. @FunoRyota No mate and never will at that sex crime price point.
  17. Global issue with supply of shipping containers is a factor in many supply chains I have been told..
  18. The rope does not reach the buoys so yeah practice or whatever you have to be on your game to get out the gates, its a big deal mate well done.
  19. Tough job running a forum, been there and done that with Firblades.org a few years ago. Ended up selling it and sleeping way better after...
  20. @lkb Shoot me a PM and I will give you my perspective on what it does if you like.
  21. It's hard to grow any sport right now with such a high percentage of kids / people addicted to small screens.
  22. Has anyone ever seen Chris Isaac and Wade Cox in the same room?
  23. @escmanaze Product market fit conversation, its hard to get much feedback out here in Australia because the new boat is not really selling at all, even discounted. On the other hand Mastercraft has plenty of traction and will get even more with the new boat. The few skiers I talk to in the US tell me they prefer the 200 so I think the conversation is fair. And I will say it again I'm a fan of the new boat I just don't think I will see it in a tournament much but hope I am wrong.
