  1. Her Father Dale was my boat driver when I was a kid during the summer when I used to ski over at Carl Roberge’s place. Lisa was always a sweetheart with a kind soul. RIP Lisa you will be dearly missed.
  2. Best rear boot in a long long time. Big high five to the HO crew.
  3. So sad to hear the news. He lived right down the street from me growing up. One of the most gifted, talented skier I’ve ever seen. RIP Kreg
  4. Guys you gotta understand the mindset of a athlete and how that person feels with there equipment. Yes Manon is on the GT and it’s the same ski she just won the world title on. So she probably feels super confident on that ski and if I had just the world title on it too in really tough conditions just like Moomba I’d probably ride the same ski. I’m not barking back at anyone I’m just giving my 2 cents what her thought process was going into Moomba. Let her enjoy her first Moomba title ! Congrats Manon
  5. looks good , looks crazy fast and I like the side to side tempo here ! Happy New Year !
  6. The new Masterline rope is legit guys. I skied a 2 round record tournament over the weekend and yesterday the first round I just skied the tournament rope cause I’ve never used the new ML rope yet. I ran 3@41 , yesterday and today I kept hearing from other skiers how good the new rope feels so I was like what the hek I’ll give it a try and got around 4 ball at 41 today and made a hard s turn but just missed the boat guides to get a full 4 so got scored 3.5 @41 !! Ended up being my best score of the year. I think the difference was I had more support and width out to the bouy and wasn’t falling over through the turn without inside body lean. With some ropes I feel narrow out to the bouy and then the boat is running on me and then I definitely can’t get rotated under the line at that bouy. From that point on now you’re chasing and in the fight. Not a fun feeling. Today felt really good and pumped to end my last round of the season with a deep 41 and yes I’m loving my new 68 !! Cheers everyone, CP
  7. @kc , John is talking about the 67 . What size are you wanting to try or riding ?
  8. The Sixam was one of my favorite skis of all time. It could run huge scores at tough places like the Masters and Moomba and just SMASH at places like trophy lakes etc. It was the first ski that Andy quit slam dunking on his onside turn. That was pretty cool too see with Andy and I watched him run a lot of 41’s on that ski !!! ( 36mph)
  9. @oneski I completely agree with you. Nothing with these incredible surgeons we have in our works today but they don’t quite get the stress , loads , forces and a lot of times taking the hit in a unbalanced position. My father aka Arnold had the fusion and he hasn’t had any problems or reoccurring symptoms and that was quite a while ago. It was when artificial disc was just an experiment and not quite out yet. I ended up having C5 / C6 artificial disc replacement and it took a long time to fully fully recover 100% and I was quite surprised that it took longer than expected to be back on the water. The upside to this is that you’re giving the rest of your body to really heal and repair itself. That was one thing that really stood out when I got back on the water. I hope this helps and wish you a speedy recovery!! Take care - CP
  10. Thanks so much guys for the nice comments , really means a lot . Can’t tell you how excited I am to be with such a great brand like HO and the people that are involved with it. Got to spend 2 days with the team at Shreducation last week at Jacks and it was great to see the synergy with the team and everyone working together. It was great catching up with some of the HO dealers that I’ve know for years and getting to meet ones I’ve never met before . Have a great season everyone!! CP
  11. Thanks everyone. I’m looking forward to a fun year doing some competitions and my traveling clinic tour. It felt good to let people know what I was really dealing with and not injury related. Horton and Trent did a awesome job and I was thrilled they wanted to inlude me on episode 13 ! I wish everyone a successful and healthy season in 2019 !! Cheers
  12. That’s some of the best skiing I’ve ever seen from Regina. I’ve got to ski with her quite a bit and see her ski at quite a few tournaments but 39 she ran was ridiculous. The space she had between the bouys and how fast she was moving through the turn was for me personally the best I’ve ever seen from Regina. After seeing that 39 no doubt she was getting down the course at 41 and looks like she could’ve done more but very smart on her end. Big congrats Regina. One of the nicest ladies I know in the sport.
  13. This is a big day for the sport of waterskiing !! Big thanks to everyone behind this and hearing our thoughts and input. Slalom skiing just got interesting again.
  14. Thanks @mbabiash , really hope you can make it.
  15. Great news about Ty making it through the surgery. I did a coaching clinic in Iowa today and couldn't wait to get back and check to see how Ty was doing. Awesome news.
  16. The waterskiing family is all pulling for you Ty. The lord will be by your side and give you peace and calmness while you go through these obstacles that we all know that you are gonna get through. Please keep us posted when you can and our thoughts and prayers are headed your way.
  17. Thanks for the kind words guys , I hope everyone has a great 2017 season and wish you all the best.
  18. @Gloersen just read your speed swing difference in revs, and your absolutely correct and because of that and I've talked about this in some of my earlier post , because of that the skiers end result is way better because of less line tension from the speed control and the boat it's not on you as long so you're free from the boat and the speed swing that your able to achieve is much greater. When that happens you have less down course speed at the bouy and you run a much earlier line. We all know what happens when we are early. We calm down , don't panic and build confidence and run a lot of bouys.
  19. Well said @Horton , also for all of those who use the current settings they will 100% still be available to you , and those who like the parameters of trick mode until we actually have a setting or a name for this maybe it will be in the plus section of the speed control.
  20. Ha ha @Horton thanks for the coaching and getting me through 38off RFF with double kickers lol great chatting with you yesterday and yes trick mode is gonna be the new ZO very soon guys. @Gar and @MS I'm already pushing this thing and got people involved to get of this moving forward. Getting great responses from other pros as well. This is gonna be so great for our sport, I can't wait.
  21. I appreciate it @Horton , I'm really psyched about next season to say the least. @Stevie Boy thank you as well man , gonna be back at it full go. @Razorskier1 yes my father went with the fusion a little over 10yrs ago and I can see the difference with his lack of mobility compared to the disc I have. @Mark_Matis my parents go to Jewett Ortho and are very well know here in Orlando. The surgeon I went to is also legendary, his name is Dr. Masson and he's at the Neuro Spine Institute in Ocoe/ Wintergarden. I don't want to name drop cause I haven't asked but there are a couple other well known skiers that had surgery with him and he has different sports athletes from even all over the world to get work done by him. It's pretty amazing what these doctors can do now ah days, I was a outpatient and the whole entire surgery only took 1hr and woke up in no pain , felt pretty good for the circumstances.
