  1. @VONMAN now we're talking about different skiers have different amounts of glide, one of my ski partners pulls out when he hits the greens, virtually no glide and a one handed gate, I turn left when the bow is almost at the gates, maybe 2 seconds of glide, I've never liked longer glide I would always drift narrow. Others can hold that width and go left really early. I don't change anything in a headwind and try to go just a tad early and narrow for a tailwind.
  2. Masterline restrings handles, 70 to 90 clams depending on which style,
  3. Flagler Beach is on the east coast, north of Daytona Beach. I believe the boarding school will be closest. Lapoints is awesome but further away, several other spots west side of Orlando but i4 is an issue.
  4. I think your closest ski school will be the boarding school.
  5. Years ago I figured out that a bigger handle was a little friendlier on my hands and elbows, masterline has offered up to 1.182 diameter for years, then I alternate between a straight handle and a curved one. It's also possible that eliminating slack hits has been the most helpful part of a lack of elbow issues the last few years. I've found a morning pt shoulder routine that has my shoulders mostly decent these days. My back and left hip tho, still working on those,
  6. Sku 150979 at inboard garage according to there site, maybe call first and double check.
  7. @Horton you can't ban him he's one of my favorite cold weather it might rain it might be too windy but screw it we're going skiing anyway drivers. You understand,
  8. HE EQUALED HIS PB AND DIDN'T BRING IT HOME!!! Sorry I'm still a little screwed up by this, sigh....
  9. On the cooler days my wife gets the same exemption, she doesn't bother rolling her eyes tho, wipes her shoes as best she can and takes me skiing, life could be worse.
  10. Dead heat, both run through 32 off and part way through 35,
  11. Got done skiing an hour ago, just as the wife got back on the platform a small one is floating middle of lake maybe 100 ft off back of boat, not super happy but it took off as soon as another boat approached, still beats shoveling snow I say!!
  12. Masterline does it I think for $75? Might have to be one of their handles but not sure,
  13. If you clean often a mop works pretty well, if not often wet with any mild cleaner and hit with a brush, the water at our site tends to make the floor nasty pretty quick ive had pretty good success with a brush.
  14. I don't know the cost but lapoint ski park will likely be the cheapest guest set price at a private ski pond, @lpskier??
  15. Does it have a distributor?? Sort of wonder what the cap looks like,
  16. What if the slump is like 4 yrs along????? Just asking for a friend,
  17. @Horton, my 97 malibu tantrum I had to do that, then one day it occurred to me that I traded the boat in and forgot to hook them back up........oopsy
  18. I suspect the fuel management system wouldn't work for our boat? We're not on a private pond, courses aren't right off our dock. Especially in fl lots of travel to get to the ski sites. It actually hasn't been that bad to recalibrate the gauge once in a while even if it's annoying. Run the tank down pretty low then usually take around 20 gallons to fill with switch off, the last 5 gallons I pour slowly out of smaller cans till fuel is visible in the lower part of the fill tube.
  19. Kinda why I said put it on the bench, got very lucky first time I did Mina, and not so much second time, it's really hard on the knees and back when mounted to the engine also but that freaking key......
  20. Fwiw I found it easier to remove the pump to do it, the belt tensioner can be locked back with a pin or Allen wrench, couple bolts and hose clamps and it's on the bench.
  21. @jpwhit that is brilliant, our course pretty much lays on bottom and the water just got warm enough to try that,
  22. It's been many years but on one trip my ski went free on the way down to fl and charged 200 on the way back, same airline, just happen to be the wrong counter worker, my cfo (wife) got our money back later. Read and print the policy ahead of time became our rule.
  23. If $$$$ is a big concern maybe see if anyone local will rebuild, I've gone this way several times with marine starters, alternators and even my hoist motor, ask Google or call a couple local auto shops and ask around, just a thought.
  24. I have a long standing personal rule about being a customer: don't make me beg you to take my money, I wouldn't have any patience for this especially if there are other options around, just my 2 cents.
