Brady, is that Logan UT? I am from UT, I really appreciate your video and the comments I will be following this thead with great anticipation. I am going to take up the course this season after 25 plus years of open water skiing, now that I have my own boat. Good luck with the progress.

I think the 2012 has the step tunnel this is the 2010. I have read reviews that suggest the 2012 is "easier". The first year of the prophecy was 2008 I believe

Fair enough, I do understand that explaining something like that is difficult or impossible. Horton is there a thread on here where folks have listed what ski they are riding along with their relevant skill level? I know I don't know what the heck I am in for if I buy the Prophacy and take it to task learning how to ski the course but I am also not concerned to ride something that "forces" me to do it right. It is doubtful I will ever enter a ski competition, so that 1/2 a buoy or extra foot off the rope will not really ruin my day if it is too much ski for me to learn on.

Checking in from Utah, we could definately still be skiing here if I had cold weather/water gear. Highs are still in upper 50's but lows are dipping into freezing range. It's hard if winterizing is necessary. I hope to outfitted with cold weather gear soon.

Several people have made similar comments about the Radar senate or senate C and the Prophacy. Can someone give a short explaination why one is more forgiving then the other?

Hello, first post here, a member from planetnautique suggested I post this question here. I am looking for a "new" ski. I have been skiing the connelly concept. I have never skied the course but I intend on doing so now that I have my own boat, but will always be more of an open water skier. I like to ski fast 34-36 and I try to imulate or imitate course like turns and cuts across the wake. Anyway I have an opportunity to buy a very nice 2010 Prophacy in my size. Asking for opinions on the ski.
