  1. Will the Lyric also be based on the new 2022 Vapor shape?
  2. If your your choice is between a 65 and 67, I would recommend a 67. The manufacturer should have a size chart though, I think skis differ. I'm on a D3 65 and at 30 mph the max weight is 130.
  3. Just wondering if anyone has gone from the X5 Rose to the Quest GS and what differences they noticed.
  4. @scotchipman - if all you didn't own boats, do you think a non-boat owner should pay more?
  5. I am "A WIFE" and I drive the boat, ski, and am as nuts about skiing and the life style as my husband. I'm the one who found our boat and told him to go buy it.
  6. Agree on '97 and newer. Have a '98 and love it.

  8. I have a 98 Ski Nautique. Should be identical hull. I ski at 28 mph 15 off. Yes, the wake is kind of tall. But it is soft, and does not bother me most of the time. I have skied behind other boats that when I hit the wake it feels like I'm hitting a brick wall.
  9. Thanks everyone, my new X7 is on the way!!!!
  10. Yes, tried ski-it-again.com. They have one, way too small, 63.5.
  11. After talking to some more people, I've had a few say if I can find a D3 X5 to snag it. Supposedly it's more forgiving than an X7 and a lot of women have done very well on it. Anybody have experience with an X5? Anybody have one they want to sell????
  12. I don't mind the pink, at least it's not florescent...
  13. MaryTee - what other skis did you try? Just the X7? What speed do you go at?
  14. Hi Everyone, I currently am on a KD Xenon (same as the KD 3000), running the mini course no problem, and I'm ready to start going for the full course. My main question is, will this ski hold me back? If it is, I am thinking about buying a D3, but since I cannot demo them, and I really can't get a clear answer as to which ski would be best for me, I need help!!!! I am comfortable trying the course at 28 mph, and don't see going more than 30 mph for a few years, and I've heard some skis like to go faster than 30mph. Which just confuses me more. So, I'm looking for opinions from people who aren't trying to sell me something. I am open to buying used, as long as it's in good condition, so a past model is not out of the question. Any help is appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks!!11
