  1. I have to agree with @Garn. Let it go and let him be. No matter how many times Horton deletes a fake account of his, he will make another. For anyone who knows Scot, he is absolutely obsessed with skiing. And nothing anyone does ever will change that. For those of us that know him, we learn that he-like all of us-have some weird idiosyncrasies and once you understand where his heart is, it doesn’t bug you anymore. I don’t run this forum, I am just a smart ass on it that appreciate lots of you guys and your opinions, but at the end of the day, he is one of us and deserves to be treated fairly. My two cents
  2. Happened 5 minutes away from a subdivision I am building. I was right there right before it happened. What a fucking tragic loss!! Dave was one of the good guys. I am in shock right now!!!
  3. I was watching the video and was stoked to buy one. I was estimating the price of around 6k—-which if so, would pull the trigger yesterday. 12k, no thanks!
  4. @Than_Bogan that is a true statement. @RazorRoss3 came out for a quick peek and nailed the stud!! (Garn, that is not a reference to you btw—it was a hunting reference.). I’m just glad @Garn is finally accepting what he is.
  5. by the way, @RazorRoss3 and @6balls and me are the same person. I am definitely the better looking of the group however. Just wanted to come clean.
  6. So @Horton if I am hearing you correctly, I can't be over argumentative, I can't spread false information and I can't let my other personas come out to play????? Sounds like marriage to me! Shit! Can I still be a smart ass??? You didn't say anything about that! And @Garn just finally admit to the world about your sexuality. I see you looking at me like that when I am getting ready for my set!! It's okay, I promise, none of us here will spread false rumors, we will not be argumentative and we definitely will not flirt with you from other personas. Admitting it will give you a whole new meaning to "chasing balls." just sayin
  7. Well shit. This sucks. Sorry for Scot and sorry for Horton. The sad thing is how much he loves this forum.... I guess it is time for me to come out of the closet. @Garn do you want to break the news or should I?
  8. We could always talk about religion??? Or those damn republicans.....or we could talk about @A_B s appetite for Utahns??
  9. @ScottScott I agree that that is one of the never-ending challenges. I was a professional long driver for 11 years--I have always been able to whack a ball a long ways. I played to a 1 handicap as well, so in water skiing lingo, I was a "Open Rated of 55K Skier." There are so many nuances and tweaks to equipment in golf--like skiing, and there is also a huge amount of muscle memory in both. They are very precision-oriented sports....well, golf is only that, skiing is more. I also played football at a division 1 school, so I kind of excelled there as well. (I won't say what school now because they suck ass). One of the reasons most high school footballers don't move on to the next level is that they are not willing to go all in. They are not willing to forget the pain and sacrifice it takes to sacrifice your body fully. To see a short line skier go into 38 or 39, those guys have no fear. It is a rush just watching them ply their craft. The point of this is that the way I would describe course skiing is the precision of golf with the brutality and adrenaline rush of football. It is a perfect hybrid between the two. I have not seen a sport on this planet that has more to offer than skiing. And everyone that I introduce it to falls in love as well.
  10. I am guessing the sport is definitely growing if people from Cambodia are springing up and commenting. Was fun to reminisce and go through the entire thread again. Made me miss Mapple all over again!!
  11. I appreciate your comments on custom vests @JayG80. I am going to order a couple of custom-fit vest this week. I am kind of amazed that the ski industry does not cater to tall dudes. It seems that a lot of the elite skiers are tall, but yet, the boots don't fit, the high-end skis are shorter, the vests feel and look like halter tops. And now the question of the hour for me. Trying to find a dry-suit and wet-suit that doesn't land at my calfs is an adventure. Does anyone have any suggestions on finding suits that are taller. I am 6 foot 7. @Horton do you have anyone that is a sponsor that caters to that market?
  12. @Clydesdale either works great for me. The fortunate thing in Utah is that like boats, I can have a variety and multiple wives in my garage. I will still stick with my ProStar however. Are you sure Nautique and this new boat company aren't the same company?
  13. Probably like dating a really fat lady or riding a moped. Lots of fun until your friends see you. With that said, why the hell would anyone own anything other than a ProStar????? Once you have the best, everything else is second rate... Yeah, you @A_B !!!
  14. I ran a 41 at 36 for the hell of it at lake Powell. Got up and saw how friggin close the boat was, went to the wash as the boat turned sharp and fell right on my ass before I even made a cut. Was still fun. Ps, how on gods green earth can these guys even attempt 41???? Unbelievably difficult
  15. @gsm_peter it’s been 4 years....why would you think @Horton has become less evil? If anything, he is truly becoming dr evil...standing there on his private lake with his pinky upturned laughing at all us schmuks...continuing to come back and feed at the trough. We are hooked...we are minions. We are ballers
  16. Baggy dry suit solves the problem. We don’t get it much in northern Utah but in southern Utah and Idaho....hell yes
  17. Unbelievable Mark!!! That is f ing inspiring my friend!!! Keep up the great work and keep knocking down those giants!!! Ps. I just showed your video to my wife—we have 3 family members innchairs—she is in tears!!
  18. I wish this thread could just go away. I don’t need to be reminded of this piece of shit anymore!!
  19. This is my baby and I have never been jealous of anyone’s boat until @A_B just showed me his new tug on Facebook. It’s like I have a perfect supermodel and now I am realizing she is a bit older....but still hot as hell!
  20. I bought my ProStar from Florida. They said it was always used in fresh water, but we found evidence otherwise. Also, the salty air did a number and I ended up replacing lots of the electrical. Still love my boat dearly and am happy as hell I bought the one I did. No matter where you get a used boat, you are inheriting its past....no matter what the owner says, the boat will perform until it doesn't and you will never know until it happens. At this point, if I were to buy a new boat, I would definitely by one with much higher hours from a trusted person over one that seems to be a sweet deal. My two cents.
  21. @Skoot1123 I think a trip to Utah with your family would really help your ball count....miss seeing you brudda!
  22. @"Keith Menard" being married as long as I have been, they are definitely deflated
  23. @6balls I should have re-phrased. If someone doesn’t like me I don’t care. I most definitely care what you think about me!! :).
  24. @markchilcutt call me, I may be interested in it. As far as the color, it’s a ProStar....anyone who don’t like it can ski behind someone else’s boat....and it matches me...people either love me or hate me and like the boat, I could give a rats arse what they think. I would definitely not pay for shipping however....you would have to pay for shipping to sandy!! Just sayin
