  1. Getting your ski TO 2 ball on a new length is one thing but turning two and having a shot at three definitely means that it is runnable - 43 will fall it is inevitable, not sure how long but those little one percenters like speed control, wakes, ski design, fins and athletes strength/weight will be ever further fine tuned to make it happen.
  2. I had the pleasure to meet Big Al on my first trip to the US and was taken to Berkeley with Mark Solich who worked at Connelly, my sponsor, at the time circa 1983 to ski together. He was such a larger than life character and incredibly hospitable and funny. he really left a big impression on me as a young 18 year old. I am thankful for meeting him and my thoughts are with his family RIP Al
  3. Geez whatever you do don't, for gods sake, ask him to tell you about his stories of days on the pro tour, your $75 bucks will be eaten up sitting on the engine box.........Just kidding Coxy is a superb coach and likes people so do yourself a favour and go get some world leading coaching
  4. I notice now looking at video of Andy on his new ski how much difference there is in how it has evolved since the '90's. His old O'Brien's were quite narrow in the forebody and he had a lot more ski in the water. It is really noticeable how much more ski is out in front of him now comparing with my memory of watching him every weekend on the tour back then. Particulary when he is setting up waiting for the turn in on the gates. Andy once sold me a blank of his when we were skiing a bit out at Jack's and I was in between sponsors. The way he had his ski set up was amazing, I couldnt believe how much the ski kept turning into the wake after the buoy and how well he had it dialled to turn both sides equally and that was in the late 1980's. Couldn't imagine how well he has his own brand sorted now after all his knowledge and experience.
