  1. @eleeski Eric. Was this the ski I tested at your lake eastern 2015? Thanks again and it was a great ski!
  2. Nasty fall using Reflex. Had adjust the setting it a bit on the hard side to avoid pre release. Still it happens. 6 stiches very close to my eye.... My humble opinion. I consider release bindings more dangerus than soft bindings.
  3. Plus on the carpet. There are fuel tanks out of epoxi so gas can not damage the ski. Maybe, just maybe the colored cloth if the epoxi is open????
  4. Using 750 Reflex on my trick ski. Beginner tricker. Releases every now and then. Tighten it much harder compare to table. One accident after type 200 sets, 5 years. Prerelease jumping over wake and got the ski in the fore head. 8 stiches. Very close to my eyes.... Scary....
  5. One can lead a horse to the water but not force him to drink.... All clubs in Sweden are open for new skiers. It is sort of an obligation for a club to exist... The cost is very low, starting from type 100 usd per year. That includs unlimited skiing with own gas and beginer equipement to borrow for free. We, and most clubs arrang ski school each year. We have about 40 to 50 kids age from 8 to 16. The fee include skiing the rest of the summer. We also offer parent ski day, reunion day end summer. Very few attend the club for more skiing. About one person in 3 year. Less than one percent. We have had more luck finding new members that are 50 plus....
  6. Ouch Our ski club in Sweden, Stockholm charge 400 usd per year. Discount for family and kids. It is probably the most expensive club in Sweden..... Include unlimited sets with own gas but volonter work and ski buddy to drive. For about 1500 usd one can join type all 8 clubs within 2-3 h drive from Stockholm. Not needed, one can usually have a few guest sets at each club with some extra gas. Welcome to Stockholm!
  7. Me and Joseph had the clubs first rides on Saturday. On Monday there was some new ice again. Sunny today so we will ski this evening again.
  8. Sweden seems to be cheap.Club membership per person is about 100 to 400 usd per year. Kids, family discounts. Usually unlimited skiing. You bring your own gas, drive each other an maintain the boat and the club.I will be member in 2 clubs next year. Club biats are 200 from 2016.There are about 8 clubs within 2,5 hours drive from Stockholm.I will help Ballers if you visit us.(Maybe a Sweden multi club ski trip??)
  9. Maybe a bit off topic. Is there anyone that can replace the rubber?Thinking of expensive handles like the ML ??and future SL?? ergo handle?
  10. Sweden was there with a large team. (Maybe for the first time?)Club name is 'Käglorna'.Got a price in: Most Valuable Act (Hitch Hiking)
  11. Fear.Too many really bad crashes. A bit more proper position generate great speed through the wakes. When I try to ski better, faster, short the rope I end up flying over first wake and dig the tip into second wake or direct after second wake...
  12. Plus one for the Union. One friend did ski the Theory in the cours down to a full pass 34 mph 38 of. Maybe a bit beyond its intendent purpuse...So it is plenty of ski. My 2 cents as an intermediant skier. One will progress faster in the beginig on a more forgiving ski.
  13. Still waiting for it to happened more than once.Have lower my expectations but not really there yet....
