  1. Just saw this @eleeski . Thank you for the kind words! We always appreciate your help and support.
  2. I won my first Regionals on an @eleeski ski. I soon had to return the ski which guaranteed my success; thus, it took me another sixteen years before I won another gold in tricks. In the interim, I was beaten by Eric himself and his son, several times. If I had been on an Elee ski all those years, who knows what might have happened. Two summers ago Eric let me try one of his skis again. There is a reason Eric has so many national titles under his belt. He's made a ski that works for the way he tricks. Few can say that.
  3. @Dirt you mean whoever had the lowest bid got Horton???
  4. Help for the shoreline announcing will be greatly appreciated!
  5. Thank you for the kind words @eleeski. Always great to have you out and supporting tricks, skiing in general, and just having a good time.
  6. @eleeski anything to give you more publicity.
  7. @‌AB Eric always ends his speeches to college kids that way. Actually, almost any talk to anyone. haha
  8. @eleeski and @jimbrake I wouldn't trust my opinion on anything. I broke a pair of Harts and didn't notice until lunch time. The entire side wall was gone. But Eric patched them up and they work fine now. Eric, its a lot easier to ski my lines faster than slower. haha. I don't know how you do it.
  9. I am one of the few, or possibly the only one who has competed on a Leeski without being a part of the family. The last time I was on one of his skis was the only Regional championship I ever won. So..... @eleeski, make me another trick ski!
  10. After that much slalom, my eyes are doing the same thing.
  11. @Horton Next thing you know you'll be proposing rule changes specifically regarding tricks. If you start wearing white dress shirts...haha
  12. @Krlee I would jump before I get in a car with Muhlitner and Greg again!
  13. @Krlee Yes, but me jumping would definitely be an exhibition!
  14. @KM I have the exact same set up, except Lange boots.
  15. I am excited for the Pro Am. Looks like I'll have to come prepared! By the way, I found tomato in my slalom binding the next day. It fermented overnight, leaving a great smell.
  16. @eleeski I like your last suggestion. For example, any body overs done with the rope out of the water have a different value (or bonus) than body overs with the rope laying in the water. Either way the turning portion of the trick is still done in the air. It is difficult to do such tricks in any manner, so one should not lose complete credit just because the rope was in the wrong spot even though the ski cleared the rope and rotated in the air.
  17. Wit the deduction system described above, we might as well just decrease the point values of all tricks by 10% and say you can slide/hitch them (this is an exaggeration). Also, I feel that if this new system is put to use, we would have to go pack to declared trick runs. Otherwise, how would the judges know the intent of the skier? Did he mean to do a TO, TB or a T5B? Most people do not hesitate on SLB before coming front, so would that be a SLO with a bit of a slide? I do however appreciate my good ski buddy (and mogul connoisseur) Eric pushing for change.
  18. There will never be a judging system that pleases all skiers.
  19. When jumping off a chair or table, do you land with your feet as close together as possible or spaced? Ski around without the binding mounted and see where your foot rests naturally jumping the wakes and for some simple tricks.
  20. He should have done it on a trick ski.
