  1. I like the Marcus at night slalom photo
  2. Why not require a fun division for all tournaments with a guaranteed 4 passes? The requirement could have an option to cap the division to 6 skiers which would take maybe 30 to 60 minutes per round. Wouldn't even need to discount the entry fees, but I think most hosts would. That might help bring in more skiers to the sport and better than doing nothing.
  3. We lack leadership in that area. Take Florida for example. Suppose to be the mecca of waterskiing but few to no grass root tournaments. Then the sport requires a speed control for tournaments that only work in mostly 50k plus boats. Brilliant incentives for newbies.
  4. Well we do get to jump behind zero off boats at Stillwater Lakes in Palm Bay, Florida, but I'm trying to get our boat set-up so he can train more. I am going to try to change out engines for Zero off, but was wondering if the z-box is an option, but I don't think it is. I was also wondering if I need to try to get the 6 liter over the 5.7. Really appreciate your input.
  5. BCM, what engine does the zero off boat have that you train behind? Wondering if you tell a difference because of the 6 liter tournament boats?
  6. Thanks, will try but I think they all use zero off
  7. I have a throttlebody injectes 5.7 2001 mastercraft
  8. Its for my boys 3 son. He is jumping close to 120
  9. Anybody use Z-box for jump and how do you like it?

  12. Glad they passed a rule that will be good for helping grow the sport. I think they should allow this for Boys and Girls 1 for all class tournaments.
  13. I think the next big technical move should be to finish designing an electric or hybrid boat at an affordable price (since high fuel prices seem like they are here to stay). If that happens, I think our sport would start growing again.
  14. The construction installation cost would also be less expensive because you wouldn't need a crane to set the steel and material delivery would be less expensive.
  15. I have thought about this before and what might be more cost effective. My thought is to excavate a lake and use all of the fill to build a high berm on one side and a short berm on the other side. Then use cables with one end anchored at the top of each berm to go across the lake and spaced as needed. This would make a "lean to" type frame and then cover it with fabric. It might be less expensive than a steel framed structure.
