Were is the measuring point on the new Vapor boot, mounted on the standard Radar aluminum plate? Were the heal of the boot meets the plate, the rear most point a couple inches above the plate? Are people generally using the same holes in the plate if they are just switching from the older Vapor to the new 2023 boot on the same ski?

Anyone tried the new O’Neill Outlaw? https://perfski.com/products/oneill-2022-outlaw-comp-vest-black?_pos=3&_sid=118a2ed1e&_ss=r

I think it’s just awesome, especially for those of us obsessed with skiing, and it could be a great marketing tool to promote equipment sales, draw in corporate sponsors and other financial support. Nevertheless @6balls makes a good point. Will it draw in many who don’t already participate or follow the sport? Not sure that’s the intent, but it sure was well done, and deserves many accolades!

I skied on a pond with a 92 PS205. The PS 205’s prior to the hull change in 97/98? were the same hull as the 91 - 94 PS 190 hull and had excellent slalom wakes with some skier spray at -35 and shorter. After the hull change the wakes were bigger, more like a crossover boat. I haven’t skied the SN 206. Only heard they were on the pretty large side.

There was that video a few years back about Rodgers’ quest to run 43 at 43(yrs old). I don’t recall any updates on it though.

Size 10 shoes and on the third pair of size 10 Vapor boots. Papa Smurf suggested skiing in them a few times and they will break in and form around your feet and ankles.

Thanks, that was a good question and chat guys. Imo the webcasts by TWBC are knocking it out of the park. I like that we have a schedule and flexibility to plan to see our fav’s in the prelim’s, or we can carve out time to tune in for the finals, or wait til the next day for the wrap up. Sure if there was a 90’s/Moomba festival or two that would be great. Back to the question… I’m in the same camp as Rob in that -38 starts would not produce the best scores, or increase viewership considerably, and could lead to avoidable injuries.

Did you try contacting your pro shop?

Seems like a good match and I was able to score one of these cool shirts when I ordered new gloves and bindings. 😁

Thanks so much @Luzz. It’s been a great run and I can’t think of a better way to finish then by hosting your dad. Best!

Great stuff @Horton! That was basically what my buddies and I did growing up skiing around the creeks and coves of south Jersey shore back in the day, with a fast little outboard, a CompX2, pair a tricks, kneeboard, step offs and some scary rope. Prolly had the same tunes going on the beach 😁

Grew up skiing in the bays, coves, rivers and creeks in the Great Egg Harbor Estuary in southern New Jersey. Skied through the inlets and out in the ocean a few times too.

Yes @Gloersen makes sense. Imagine two football players standing at the goal line. One runs straight down the right hash marks and the other player runs a zig zag between the right and left hashes, and both get to the opposite goal line in the same amount of time. Who travelled faster?

Does the playpen allow for under bow(playpen floor) storage? If so that’s worth something.

Did you try talking to Performance Ski and Surf @perfski? They can probably get you set up.
