Good chance they’ll be a bunch listed over the next few weeks as the season gets closer - Ski it Again, Craigslist, Only Inboards.

Nice job @EM_ . Valuable insights and your suggestions are right on.

Up to 41 events over 17 weeks in the East.

In my experience a 91-94 PS190 with a 1/1 trans’ (slot was slightly bigger) or a 97-99 SN.

I’m a 10 in shoes, sneakers, boots and double Carbitex Vapors. I found them to be similar to a stiff pair of hiking boots in that they take a 4 or 5 sets to break in, then they are very comfortable. I prefer to wear them into shape rather than heat mold them which seems to me to stiffen the liner foam material.

That was awesome @Fastguy888

Always good to demo if it works for you. I feel like it doesn't work for me because I don’t ski often enough and that it takes me a good couple months, 15 to 20 sets to adjust to the new ride. So I went with the factory team’s advise.

There you go.

Slightly off topic... Sounds like there may be market for a ski school in southern CA?
-
Will reducing non-skiing amenities, hull size, and weight come into play?
-
Would interchangeable batteries for residential and recreational motors be an option?

About average for the past few years in the East region. 36 tourneys over 15 weekends, June - Sept. So far none in the first two weeks of August. Could be a few more popping up once the season gets going.

Nice boat. Should sell quick in today’s market.
-
Excellent ski boat. Same hull as the ‘95 - ‘97 Prostar.

I saw some video of a tournament this weekend that is posted on the NZWSA website. What I saw looked like it may have been a grassroots event or fun type of division.

Was out drift fishing in the Great Egg Inlet in our Glastron GT143 one day and my buddy says come look at this... was a Mola mola, ocean sunfish about ~5ft long and ~7ft wide (fin to fin) just cruising slowly along side of the boat. Big enough to send us swimming to shore if we hit it under speed.

Six milk jugs, crabbing rope and 5lb weights would be a lot cheaper.
-
Lot of good choices out there. Give @perfski a call for good advice, selection and service. Whatever you end up with, give it some time for you to get used to how everything rides.
-
Good job @DAKERS and @Chet . Really got me looking forward to spring.

Welcome @loeweb !

Two more thoughts... First, what sets these and other great coaches apart is their ability to first understand the athlete’s skills and abilities, and then to have the breadth to develop an individualized program for their success. Second thought, we could use a way off topic button.

Excellent job, as good as any waterski publication that I have ever looked through and read!
