Imo it’s a good thing and may likely help bring more families into the organization over time.

If my memory serves me well, a pro level skier once wrote something like ... ride the biggest (or longest) ski you can turn...
-
Agreed. Similar training and background checks are required in most sports for most adults where there’s interaction with minors . Also a common business practice across most sectors of education, commerce and government.

A true ambassador of the sport. Gave me a call back couple times after I left voice mails with the main office. Once for help with supporting a ski club initiative and once to talk about a new ski for me.

Doesn’t sound like anything really new. To me it’s more like waterskiing is catching up to other sports. For at least 20 years or so all adults involved in youth sports like AAU, Little League, NERVA, have had to submit some sort of criminal background check and complete health and safety training requirements.

HO VTX circa 1994 was a whistler

Once when winterizing Our PS190 we found a good sized bubble in the fuel hose midway under the rear floor panel. Luckily we saw it and replaced the hose before it popped.

I always had good results with warm water, Palmalive, and a soft scrubbing brush. Let it soak, a little gentle rubbing and rinse. The gray carpet in our 92 Prostar looked good as new when we sold in 2014.

Any photos? :)

Call @perfski . They have excellent knowledge and discounted close out skis. They can probably ship to NC in a couple days.

Amazing, I’ll keep this one.

The Sahara is a really good suit. With a little wetsuit repair cement you should be able to seal up any little leaks in the tape or seams fairly well. Not sure how much for resale, ~50 to ~100 bucks maybe.

Many of the ski manufacturers offer skis designed to fit the skier’s skills and the goals they are working towards. Connelly, D3, HO, and Radar offer skis for all levels. Lots of retail dealers have deals on leftover skis from the past few years. Performance Ski and Surf aka @perfski has a very knowledgeable and helpful staff, and recently listed great deals on close out ski and binding packages. You may want to give them a call or shoot them an email for advice.

If there was a triple awesome button I would have picked It @cougfan !!!

My dad always said “you need to be able to handle the ball and go to the hoop with your left hand (for righties)”. Slightly off topic... think of how baseball players and golfers hold the grip. There’s a correct way to do it.

You may want to sign up for Train With Terry Winter. Provides lots of professional knowledge and instructional videos for the basic fee. And imo if you have a video to send him the virtual training he provides is super helpful and a great value. https://www.trainwithterrywinter.com/

Nice job. Good foundation for all to work on while looking forward to the new season.

Check with @perfski . Excellent knowledge and lots of options. They can get you set up.

Good to know. I’m happy with Vapors though - the fit, comfort, performance and a little extra warmth on cold days.

Same for the Cheyenne Skier

The Ski Eliminator was a good looking boat. Anyone got a good pic?

Just curious and a little mid March boredom. I’ve been in dbl’s almost 30 years HO 97’s to Animals to Vapors.
