  1. Fall is coming... I'm getting the dirt bike itch... maybe a new KTM is what you need! Stick with the Strada!
  2. I have HRT too and rally like it. Start with both feet in. No problem getting up!

    RTPs

+1 on HRT. Like it much better than standard RTP
  4. I've been listening owing for this boot too in size 11. No luck yet...
  5. I'm doing a project like this too.. thinking about hanging some old skis and putting hangers on them to hang up life jackets, towels.... ideas welcomed
  6. I've got a Senate alloy with T-Factor front and HRT rear.. Really liking this set up. It's a great ski for me. Running 28 to 30 mph 15 off.
  7. Get you a pair of Stokes gloves. They are a thinner glove but hold up well. They cost $50. Good price point for what you get
  8. I'm in the same boat as you.. I have ran 15 off at 28mph a handful of times. I ski on a 2012 Senate alloy. It's very forgiving.. I've been thinking about upgrading a bit to the Senate Lithium... I guess the lithium will be quite a bit lighter ski than alloy..
  9. Not sure. But, I just bought a 2007 MC X15. It has a adjustable wake plate... It like looks to have a decent slalom wake... Does your boat have a wake plate? If so you may be able to adjust for a skiable wake..
  10. Next time your in LR for a couple days holler at me. A buddy and I free ski quite a bit on the Arkansas river here in LR. Maybe give you a pull sometime. Those old skis are cool. Ive got a few at my lake house that I may hang up on a wall or fence.
  11. Im also heading to ski school this Saturday to try and run the course for the first time too.
  12. I'm in the same situation you are.. I've been skiing behind a cobalt 200. I can only go about 5 feet off 75 foot rope. The wake is just to big... Anyway, I'm probably gonna buy a mid nineties ski tug just for skiing. Heading to DFW ski school in a couple of weeks to work on learning the course. Good luck.
  13. I usually just stay at Hampton Inn in Greenville. It's like 15 min from DFW Ski school. Don't wait till Sept.. Alan may be closed down by then.. Usually get three sets in per day.. I would say you'll be spent after two days of hard skiing... I hope to get down there in June
  14. I've been to DFW ski school. Alan is a very good coach. Tom Brantely may be there too. It's fun to ride in the boat and watch Tom ski.. Anyway, i plan on going there this summer too. We always go to this hole in the wall Mexican place for lunch... Good times..
  15. Thanks guys. I live in Little Rock. I know of a a couple of private clubs in AR. One in Scott, AR the Greenwoods I believe own that one and one up in Fayettville area. I'll message Onside135 and 501 Brandon for more info in my area.
  16. Im considering trying a few ski comps held here in Arkansas this summer. The only problem is I've yet to run the course. I would consider myself an intermediate skier that is still working on being stacked and making rhythmic turns. My goal is to be able to run the course one day.. But, I don't have access to one so I just free ski as much as possible when I'm at the lake house.. I've been to a couple of ski schools. So, I'm somewhat familiar with the course. Just no luck navigating through it yet.... Anyway, would it be silly for me to just sign up for a tournament and give it a shot without actually running the course beforehand.. I'm just trying to get as much experience as I can... Advice welcomed please. Thanks!
  17. They are sending me a replacement as soon as I get them another pic with the warranty code written on boot. I did ask for the aluminum frame though. I won't be using a feather frame again. I like the Vector binding. Will feel safer with aluminum frame...
  18. Purchased binding last summer from Wakehouse. It's still under warranty so they will replace it once I email pics of binding.
  19. I ski on a Radar Senate with front vector boot on feather frame and RTP. Let my nephew ski on it this weekend and he had a bad crash that left him with a severe ankle sprain. Trashed my vector boot. Broke the feather frame in half up by the ball of foot. Tore away from 4 of the the six screws that secure binding to boot and ripped both sides of the stitching where boot is connected to feather frame. I'm thinking he had the binding on to tight. I had to jump in the water and get it off of him.... I've never had any problems with the binding when I ski with it. I usually ski with it on the loose side. Anyway, suggestions on what to replace it with are welcome. Should I replace with another Vector but go with the aluminum frame? Or try something else?
  20. I live in Little Rock. Memphis is about 2 hour drive for me.. How much would Seth's clinic cost?
  21. I'm sorry for confusion guys. Grace was there and pulled me while her friend Tracy coached me.. Awesome time!!
  22. I was on vacation this last week in Charleston, SC. So I had to go grab a set at Seth's Stisher's place on Johns Island. Unfortunately, Seth was out of town coaching. His boat driver Grace worked with me though. I'm a intermediate skier that has never skied the course so I was mainly working on my stacked position and off side turns... I ski on a Radar Senate but could not bring my gear with me on vacation. I decided to demo a HO A3. Wow, totally different feel than my Senate.. I found it quite unstable at first.. You really need to have proper form on this ski... My off side turns were a bit of a struggle though.. But, I got use to it fairly quick and was really carving my on side turns.. I have to say I think I liked it better than my Senate... So if any of you are ever in Charleston area make sure you go ski at Oz and buy a H2osports tshirt too! Speaking of that t shirt, I was in downtown Charleston at the amazing farmers market they have each Saturday wearing my H2Osports tee shirt and a little blonde boy, about 5 years old and his Mom walked up to me.. The boy pointed at my shirt and said hey that's my Dad's Company.. I bent down and said is Seth your Dad.. He said yes.. I told him that I skied at his Dad's lake just the other day.. His Mom told me that he is already com

  24. Thanks for all the advice guys! I'll be in Charleston next week on vacation. I have a ski lesson at Seth Stisher's place at Oz. I may see If I can get a lesson there for my boys too.
  25. Im going to try and teach my boys to ski this summer, they are 8 and 5. Need some advice please.. Should I get those kid skis that have the crossbar that hold them together or just a regular pair of kid skis? I have a Cobalt IO and a party barge to pull them with. Should I start them out behind the barge with someone holding the rope in case they forget to let go when they fall? I don't want it to be a bad experience, that's why I'm trying to keep them away from the Cobalt's massive wake! I have a hard enough time skiing behind it anyway! Ideas?
