  1. @Roger - Hope so, cause that's the color I have on order. Just hard to get a good feel for true color on computer screen, doing the boat builder. Thanks much,
  2. Fun is fun. Plenty of time for the more serious stuff!!
  3. Picked up this beauty of a promo boat yesterday. Hoping for a much more normal tournament season next year!!
  4. RAWski, The boat was brought in to be available for sale at the show, but ended up selling before the show started. Red ropes are to keep people off the new owners boat.
  5. Mastercraft had a nice Prostar at the Portland show.
  6. Loopski, Could you possibly share will the solution will be? I'd like to approach my dealer with as much info as possible. Thanks much,
  7. I've have the same issue on my 2014. Last winter I got up under the dash and re-tightened the nuts and flip tabs. Unfortunately on mine, it appears that during factory install, one of the embedded studs in on the backside of the touch screen housing, was pulled out. Someone finagled it together at the factory, but I'm afraid that in my circumstance, I'll need a new display to get back to the not so great, factory mount set-up. This is a good thread, as I was unsure how much traction I would get with the dealer on a 4 year old boat.
  8. Hi all, The wife and I booked a trip to Hawaii the 1st part of February. This is a lay in the sun, relax, have a few cocktails kind of trip. But of course I think, man it would be cool to take a ski ride while there! I checked out the website of the Oahu ski club, and it's very near where were staying. So my question is: Any club members on BOS? If so, can a guy buy a couple passes thru the course? If not, certainly understandable. Just thought I'd see if it's a option. Thanks very much.
  9. I have had both done. I'm 56 years old. 1st knee about 3 years ago. Second knee about 9 months ago. I have been skiing most of this summer, but took a month off because the new knee started to go backward as far as pain and mobility. My take away is: For me, it takes much longer to totally recover than what I was told. Can I function, yes. can I ski, yes. Am I still in constant pain, yes. The 1st knee was about the 1 year mark before I felt it was near normal. This is just one guys experience, others may have way better results. Best of luck.
  10. Ed, Loved the boat rendition. Your a very talented guy!
  11. Had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago. Plan on hitting the water next spring. I know others have had knee replacements and are skiing great!
  12. I am scheduled to have my right knee replace in August. Thought I could make it thru the summer, but for whatever reason, the knee quickly took a turn for the worse. FYI, I had a cortisone shot as a last option, it didn't help. Unfortunately, this is now delaying my surgery because the cortisone has to be completely out of my system before they'll operate. I think it's a 3 month timeline. We've got several skiers around that have had replacements, one had a knee and one had a hip. Both are skiing and the one that had the knee (Ron Warman) said his knee feels great! Not fun getting old!
  13. It will be interesting to see what happens to all the Prostar promo's in the fall. I actually think that Mastercraft is offering too many color/style combinations. If I'm going to spend 60K for a promo (That's on the low side of what I've been quoted) I sure as heck want the boat to have a color combination I really like. Some of the boats out there for sale, promo and retail, are just OK. Some are just plain ugly, OH my gosh, what were they thinking UGLY!
  14. The curve on the bottom of the Rocker blocks is as follows: With the top surface as level, R30 will have .030 gap at each end. R45 will be .045 gap each end and R60 will be .060 gap each end.
