  1. Our ski jump in located outside of Houston so it is exposed to a ton of sun and heat. The surface has not been redone for 10 years. What are the common paint materials to put on a surface these days. What is best to protect from UV rays? We will power wash and clean the surface and side curtains before applying new product. Thank you.
  2. @Cnewbert , yes the pasture is fenced for horses. The pastured/fenced area for horses is approximately 20 of the 25 acres. Also, if you look at the barn, about 1/3 of it is setup with horse stalls and related elements to support a few horses.

  4. Beautiful 3 event ski site 1 hour west of Houston is on the market. Absolutely clear and clean water, private (8 water lots, 9 total), quite and in the country. The link below represents 2 lots that combined are 25 acres, set up for horses and has a shooting range. Great slalom course and jump ramp. Enjoy year around skiing, and you never have to wait in line to ski. Why am I posting this? I have owned a lot at Angel Lake for 20 years now, and my family is active slalom course skiers and jumpers. Angel Lake needs another "water ski family". Feel free to email me if you have any questions, miked@dunlapmarketing.com (I am not a realtor nor do I represent this property, I am just promoting the listing to the water ski community)........Mike Dunlap https://www.har.com/homedetail/1070-angel-lake-estates-rd-alleyton-tx-78935/1174243
  5. Kelvin, great job putting this together. Do you ever sleep?
  6. Not to take anything away for Dave's performance, but I award "skier of the day" to his wife Ann. She ran 3 tournament passes each of her 3 rounds. Anytime a guy can get his kids and wife to join him in skiing a tournament, I consider this an outstanding day. @MrJones, you also do a great job getting full family involvement. @ShaneH, I skied right after Dave and my warm up consisted of watching Dave do his actual warm up.
  7. His 35 was nice, and the 38 was even better, unbelievable tournament set for Dave. The Panneton's are an outstanding family.
  8. @Kelvin and Lisa, great job with the webcast. Thanks for bringing the tournament to all of us who are unable to attend. Jeff Greathouse, you have some talent with the microphone.
  9. I am in total agreement with @klindy about 3-eventing. If you have the time and site to train, it sure makes tournaments a lot of fun. It is common to ski 6 times in 1 day, heck of a deal. If you have taken care of your body, you are not too old, not even close. Get good jump coaching and be smart with practice. In my opinion you already have an advantage if you know how to trick. Downside - sure is a lot of gear to haul around!!!!! Have fun.
  10. @AlbertaTex, prevailing south winds travel up a slope about a 1/4 mile before the lake and then there is a 3' berm along the shoreline, anything below 10 - 12 mph wind is pretty much a non issue. @zippin_2, we pull our water from about 400' down. For a Texas lake we are very fortunate that we do not have a water problem. Natural sand filtering, carp and lake dye help keep the water clean and clear.
  11. @skidawg, anytime you want to ski Angel Lake you are welcome, @darwin knows where we are. I'll have the boat ready.
  12. ShaneH, you and the boys up on the northside need to come ski with me this fall. Water quality at Angel Lake is as good as ever.
  13. I am a property owner at Angel Lake, it is a great site if you don't mind a brief drive from Houston, Bryan/College Station, Austin or the San Antonio areas. I will be happy to give any baller a pull through the course if you have interest. The lake is very private and you almost never have to wait your turn.
  14. If you don't mind driving a bit southeast (2 1/2 hours) we should be skiing on the west side of Houston that weekend, unless the weather is bad. On GoogleEarth look about 50 miles west of Houston and you will see a site called Angel Lake. We will be happy to give you a few pulls behind a 08 196.
  15. ETEXAG contact me and we can ski at Angel Lake sometime, it is my home lake. The site is about 5 miles (as the crow flies) east northeast of Columbus. Very nice clean water so you don't have to worry about the salt!!!! mdunlap at dunlapmarketing dot com
