  1. Chelsea Mills joined the 39 off club today. She ran 1@41 off at Boris Laval's tournament this morning. Round 1. Pretty impressive considering she didn't even learn to ski until the age of 26. Congratulations Chelsea!!
  2. I am flexible and would consider a shorter length.
  3. Hello,I have a newly renovated, fully furnished townhouse in Winter Haven for rent beginning November 1st-end of April. This townhouse is directly on Lake Lulu with a water ski course. Lake LuLu is connected to 16 lakes in Winter Haven with access to restaurants, bars and live music. You can park a pontoon or ski boat right out the back door. There is trailer parking and a ramp on the property. If you are looking for a winter home, check out this link and message me for more photos. https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Rentals&postid=65070
  4. We got a course permitted in Orange County, Florida on a lake in Windermere. The biggest obstacle was finding a place to put it that did not touch the water rights/property lines of other lot owners because their property lines went really far out onto the lake. We ended up purchasing the land under the water in the center of the lake to get the permitting. After we applied for the permit, we had to present to the Orange County commissioners. The entire process took about 9 months. Some counties have a more difficult permit process than others. Not sure about Seminole County. I hear Polk County doesn't even have a permitting process or that it's much easier to put a course on a lake there.
  5. I love Eagle brand but broke my ribs last year due to lack of padding on the sides. I now wear a rib protector shirt underneath when I wear this vest. You can buy them online. Not very expensive.
  6. I tore my right bicep in December and started skiing again in mid April. Did PT for 2 weeks, then I free skied for a week with both hands always on the handle. Started skiing normally in May. No problems.
  7. Try Target in the Swim Section. They have swim shorts in a few styles and colors.
  8. HI -have skied both the Radar Vapor 19 and the D3 NRG 2 at mostly 32 mph and 28 & 32 off. I could never seem to get a nice 2 ball turn on the Vapor and never got to 3 ball at 35 off. On the D3, I have gotten deeper into 35 consistently. On the Radar, I ran 32 really well all the time. Off side was also unpredictable. The D3 is slower but a better turning ski in my opinion. Definitely slower though. It took me a while to realize that I was still in the pass approaching the buoy. You should try the D3 but give it enough sets to get used to the difference in how they ride.
  9. I met her at a tournament in California. She was so nice and helpful. I am very sad to hear this news.

  11. I heard that IWWF just voted to change the max speed for W4 to 32MPH. Is this true? If so, how will it impact L and R Tournaments this fall and next year?
  12. Update: I have run my challenge pass 3 out of the last 4 sets. Although my 2018 Probuild is a great ski, I think I like this one better.
  13. I have the 2018 ProBuild and love it. I just bought the 2020 and am still trying to figure it out. It feels different but ran my hardest pass on the 2nd set.
  14. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=49610 I think this is a good price for a newer Radar. It's stable and would work well at 32 mph for his size.
  15. Would any recommend it for a 32 mph skier? I still practice some at 34 but mostly compete at 32 on a Radar Probuild 66 right now. What size should I try if I demo it? I’m 145 lbs.
