  1. @gapullin, I'm curious how you made out with your DYI sinking system. Did you get it working? How did the process go? I went with the WallyCourse/WallySinker combo this year. I figured it would be best for me to go with a system where someone else worked out all the bugs. I completed putting it in about 6 weeks ago and so far so good. It takes 8 minutes to raise and 12 minutes to sink. It took me quite a while to install it, but now that it is up and running I couldn't be happier. Very high quality components and Wally provided great support through the process.
  2. I've had a few pairs of the Radar RS1/Strada and now on Carbinex. The size and fit has been consistent. Agree with @Killer on the fitting process. Additionally I use Superfeet footbeds. They're a big improvement over the Radar stock footbeds for me.
  3. I have a plate from a Strada boot that you could have. It was barely used. I moved to the Sequence plate. Looks like you might be able to make it work...
  4. I have a Sony FDR-X3000 that I use with the Wakeye pylon mount. The image stabilization is excellent. We use the Sony PlayMemories app on my iPhone mounted so my wife can control the camera while she's driving. Not a great app, but works fine for turning the camera on and off. I used to use the Wakeye app on my iPhone for recording, but was never able to get smooth video. The Sony is much smoother, but it does focus on the rope so the skier is a bit fuzzy. I haven't been able to solve that issue, but the video quality plenty good enough so I can clearly see all my skiing mistakes.
  5. I lay down microfiber towels. The microfiber towels stick to the carpet kind of like Velcro, so they stay in place nicely. I use 24x48 along each side of the engine and 72x40 for behind the engine. Chamois or regular towels just blow to the back of the boat, microfiber are the only ones that actually stay in place.
  6. @v1carl, same result as @bko? Just to warn you that there isn't any type of hip replacement that will take you from 0 off/46 kph to 35 off/36 mph! ;-) Good luck with your decision
  7. I have a 2006 Response Lxi with DBW. Purchased Star Gazer Three Event directly from PP and installed myself in a few hours. Great customer support and documentation. Very happy with the upgrade.
  8. Hey Londonskier, and all Princes club members and employees on BOS. I'm really sorry to hear this. I've been lucky enough to ski at Princes club several times over that past couple of years. The site is great, but the members and employee make the place amazing. Every time I went there I was treated like a long time club member, actually like a family member. I'm really going to miss you guys. This is a huge loss for the skiing community.
