  1. Not after rain yesterday and overnight low in the 40s
  2. MW Regionals was a great time this year. conditions got a little breezy occasionally. all in all a good weekend. here is a pic with Nate Smith skiing http://sdrv.ms/Tb5CmL my album also has some pics of @MS ripping it up on the Monza for the last time http://sdrv.ms/OUd30E
  3. Sorry to add to the rumor mill. Thanks for the updated info guys
  4. i think you can get thrown out of the olympics for "sandbagging". good thing we're not a part of that.
  5. i learned to ski the course on a 2003 O'brien Siege (i still have it in the garage). they used the mapple mold to make it but with a softer flex. i was 130-135lbs at the time and skied from 26-36MPH. finally got rid of it when i started running 36 more consistently.
  6. @MS who is your source? If I were PCM and had to replace 90 engines already this year. I'd drop the warranty too.

    MS

i saw a UPS truck pulling up to @MS house today.
  8. sorry if this offends anybody, I don't remember who it was. i watched a driver pull the #1 seed girls 3 slalom skier over the island at MW regionals last year.
  9. i ski 99.9% behind a 196 with ZO. So, all y'all's boats suck compared to that. Just sayin'
  10. What about slightly shorter lines? Would this apply? I typically have no trouble with -22 at 36mph. Then -28 feels like -43 for me. Guessing I must be giving up the handle early and losing my outbound direction.
  11. I set my rear boot straight and tighten screws as much as possible without stripping inserts. after 2 sets. boot is rotated all the way to the right (LFF). so, that's where i leave it
  12. I had a snapping turtle pop its head up right in front of me as i was about to turn in for the gates last year. I swear it was about 3 feet in diameter. Me and the turtle had the same expression on our faces. Holy S#!T
  13. i've been told that most jump tournaments had an ambulance on site at all times. back in the good ol' days
  14. i saw a few folks tweakin' between sets this past weekend. @thager included
  15. @MS - I think that video is a few years old
  16. i'm sure this is not true. but, does anybody get the feeling that they found a load of these in the back of the shed and marketing figured out how to make some money instead of throwing them out?
  17. we had some milfoil issues a few years back. we keep a pretty close eye on outside boats now. our sister site has a policy of flushing and washing down all boats before letting them in regardless of how clean they look.
  18. @MS must have been soaking up some good advice on this thread earlier today. he ran -38 during both of his sets today at the home site. making it look easy.
  19. @gjohnson I have photographic evidence that you had a fantastic time at a tournament last year that MS was at.
  20. New Hampton Inn on north side of town looks nice. Otherwise, the Country Inn and Suites is OK. i've had family stay there before.
  21. how about against jet skis? i'd buy a whole set if i knew they would get sucked up and ruin the jet ski.
  22. i was 2 mins in before i realized that Champion was spelled wrong :)
  23. we used to have a portable course on a public lake up at our cabin. the setup time can be done with 3 guys in as little as 30-45 minutes if there is no wind and you guys have really got your method down to a science. taking it out is easier since you are just pulling things back in. when we would go to the cabin for the weekend we'd usually try to get there on friday night and get things installed. then, we'd just remove all the buoys except for 1 green ball at each end. the course would then sink and rest on the bottom. we had pretty sandy smooth bottom for this. then, in the morning. just start at 1 of the greens and pull yourself along the mainline, attaching buoys as you go. we found that easier than taking it in and out all weekend. DNR didn't give us any fuss over that either.
  24. I went from double Wileys to T-Factor last season. Huge improvement right away. Went back to the double wileys for a few sets and felt like i was trying to play marble madness on the ski. it was all over the place.
