  1. Just got back from the Jolly Ski clinic. Mateo and McKayla we’re awesome host!! Food local Italian (from farm to table to Tuskin) crazy good. San Gervasio site was amazing. Conditions were sweet. Coaching was great! We had in our group from tournament to getting back into skiing and relearning to run the course. Site seeing and touring N Italy was more than expected. Mateo and McKaylas back yard. Cool places I would not known to have gone. We had 3 non skiers in our group. They had a fantastic time. On the lake only day they caught a train to Parma. Went shopping local one morning. He has another clinic in September. Best value for Skiing, Fun and Tourism. Perfect balance of skiing and touring. I could go on but it was a great week. Highly recommended! Jeff and Tina Lindsey
  2. I priced another rack on my 22. Ended up adding a decal.
  3. I had an ankle surgery a couple of years ago. I had always used Vapors. ( not the reason for surgery) My surgeon suggested a release-able binding. I ended up with the HO binding. I also switched my tricker to the same. I really like having the same on both skis.
  4. + 1 on the slasher. My neighbor has the new all black Radar. He really likes it.
  5. Unbelievable weekend at Bennetts. I want to thank Jay, Anne, Freddie and Mastercraft for putting this on. Great food, coaching and friendship… Hope we can do it again. Thanks to Staff that makes Bennetts special.
  6. We have D3 in our family. We have had great service. My wife broke a ski and they made her a match asap. Took the serial # off the ski and built to the same specs. Still cost but beat buying a new pair.
  7. I purchased an S rope. I put 45lbs on it and it measured perfect. Left it with tension at 45 for 2 hours it was 8-10cm long. I would like to see them for tournament use take 6 to 8 cm out of the mainline and a couple of cm out of 16 and 14.25. Most ML optimized 2 I have measured are short out of the box and when there used they're right on. I am a TC. I thought the quality and service were spot on. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow and compare to my ML. My 2cents, Jeff
  8. We’ve had our 21 about a month. The biggest difference in our 17 is the trick wake. It’s a lot better.
  9. Agree with @ALPjr! I thought sprain. Went to ortho I ended up with tightrope surgery. Rehab… I think I rushed recovery. But my ankle is solid now.
  10. Joe, I will take it if still available.. Jeff Lindsey

  13. We at SMRR are celebrating the life of Gordon Hall May 22 and 23 at SMRR. I would list Gordon's Achievements and contributions to the sport but they are too numerous. Multiple USA Water Ski Board positions, Princeton, Grandberry, SMRR, Lakes of Katy, Lago Santa Fe are a few of his Developments. Your online entry of $30 Includes an event T-Shirt, 1rd 3evt tournament...on line entry. River Celebration including Food and Live Music featuring Southern Angels (Cullen and Caroline Parkers Band) and of Course Gordons FAV Coors Light. I can be contacted at jflski63@hotmail.com for more info. Hope to see you there!
  14. I did a lot of reading on the injury to educate myself on the stages of recovery after surgery. Just make sure you wear your brace all the time everywhere. A buddy of mine re tore his in a minor car wreck holding onto the wheel. After his second surgery it was a year before he could do anything. Good luck. I have no lasting effects of the surgery and the biceps is normal.
  15. Left and left.. I did it....jumping. My experience was my surgeon (a sports med ortho) was what the book said on recovery. But as I worked with PT and he met with the surgeon we were able to safely return to a competitive level in 5 months.
  16. I had a distal biceps complete rupture. I had the 2 incision fix. Surgery in mid April skied Pan ams in November. 3@12 jumped 128 tricked just under 3k. My suggestion is talk to a physical therapist that will work with your surgeon on rehab. I did a ton of blood flow restriction rehab. Skied in 12 weeks lightly. Increasing to tournament level in 5 months. Your rehab is the key in my opinion. Never wore a power vest or any special equipment.
  17. I am coming off ankle surgery and had purchased a 21 HO Hardshell at nationals for my tricker. Since my injury I put it on my slalom and after a few sets I have been very happy with the performance and comfort. The most comfortable binding I have ever been in.
  18. How about the Midwest Air Force!!!! Roberts, Luetz and Stackpole all over 200. Don’t know if any of them are old enough to have a beer to celebrate. Congrats to them.
  19. Zach happy Bday!!! It was fun spending your 21st in San Marcos stranded with the Mommer Boys..
  20. I quit measuring the sets as an activity.... So I did not get calories burned. I had a slalom set the last 3 days. I just went to the graph. My Garmin has the HR built into the watch.
  21. My resting is 52-54. Slalom it averages 120.
  22. I’ve been wearing a Garmin for 2-3 seasons. All 3 events. No Issues. I have a better chance of losing it by taking off and putting it somewhere
  23. Wow...a little Ozark Mountain Daredevils reference on BOS. Gonna be a good day...like a sawed off dream.
  24. Don’t disregard a new rope. After I started getting a new rope every year my elbow pain has gone away.
