  1. This is going to be amazing...but why on Valentine's day?
  2. This technique was used in "Edged in Water 2"
  3. The old website certainly wasn't as bad as some other ski sites I've seen, but this one looks great. Does anyone know who designed and developed it?
  4. What about the ProStar 214v? http://www.mastercraft.com/boats/media/ps214v http://waterskimag.com/ski-boats/2011/02/16/mastercraft-prostar-214v-2011/ "...the ProStar 214V is one of only two V-drive ski boats to receive three-event world record certification from USA Water Ski."
  5. @JohnCox Will witness me running the course on an El Diablo soon enough.
  6. I'm going to go ski while you guys figure this out...
  7. Just stopped by the thrift shop on my way back from the bank. I've never seen anything worth getting until today - an El Diablo! Only $3.21! It's in pretty good condition, too. Now to dust it off and see how many buoys I can get without hurting myself...
  8. Didn't get a chance to look through all of them yet, but there are some great skiing shots in there. Nice work.
  9. @andjules There's plenty of those guys, just give them a day or two ha.
  10. Here is another article mentioning it - http://www.vanityfair.com/online/oscars/2012/09/tom-hanks-cloud-atlas-toronto-film-festival It would be cool if a pro with a ski school invited him to their lake for a few sets.
  11. I've only been able to do two sets at a time every week and a half to two weeks. It's pathetic, but I have been able to improve every time. So to answer your question - yes.
  12. @matthewbrown Maybe I should've said "I wouldn't doubt it if there are Big Dawg skiers that have done it in practice." I'm not assuming that it's happening all the time. It's very interesting that there haven't been that many run in practice. I know that a tournament is a whole different ball game like @ShaneH said. For example, there were pros running 41 in practice in the early 90s and it took years for that to fall. It's going to be exciting to see who gets it first, there are a lot of hard working, great skiers in that division. I'm betting that it will be run before we get to October!
  13. There's no doubt that several of the Big Dawg guys have done it in practice. It's too bad Jeff can't do the Big Dawg series for a while.
  14. That long exposure shot is awesome! Look at the cut through the gates as compared to the turns in the rest of the course, very interesting!
  15. This is my entry, Enjoy! Video Description: This is my official entry for the Ball of Spray/Radar Skis/Honu Sandals video contest! I decided to use my friend John Cox as the subject since he truly lives a waterski lifestyle. How exactly did it save his life? Watch the video to find out! John did some great skiing in some nasty weather. Shout out to him and Page for helping me with the video! I've been riding on an intermediate ski for the past five years and winning a Strada would be amazing! :D Music: Black Keys - Gold on the Ceiling
  16. I'm by no means an expert, but one thing that may help is getting wider on your pull out.
  17. Bought a 1993 Prostar 205 with 400 hours in 2007 for $12,500. From what I know they've ben going for that or more over the past few years. Bomini top, monster tower (which I could do without), Ford Windsor, great condition, etc. It's been a great boat! Did I mention it's white with pink and teal accents? It's awesomely 90's - ultimate hipster ski boat.
  18. @than bogan What kind of tone did she have in her voice when she said "good idea"?
