It is amazing the difference between what you think you look like and what you look like on video. I really feel like I am skiing with a good stack, but based on the video I think it could be better. Perhaps a bit wider at the pull out. I am running this pass about 50% of the time and feel like I am so close to getting it 90%. 32 is another story and giving me fits. I think this pass is really bringing out my shortcomings at 28. Thanks for the advice.

    I'm trying to help a friend get his boat back in working order. Its a 2003 Ski Nautique 196. Thought I'd check with you ballers in case you might have some old parts laying around that you want to sell. Thanks! What we are looking for: Acme 422 prop 3 Tracking fins Shaft (I think 1" X 49-1/8" single taper) Rudder with Trim Tab Strut (s-12)

    @horton, I am trying the exact same thing. Miami Nautique green gloves and a 1.092 masterline handle. Will be interesting to see if my hands do better.

    @moski, I had a 2004 197 and now have a 2012 txi. When I was looking for a new boat, the wife had to have an open bow and a padded trunk to lay out on. So that took the ski nautique 196 and 200 out of the equation (my two favorites). In my opinion, the 197 was great, but the txi is even better. I'm a 34mph 22-28 off skier, and didn't have any complaints regarding the wakes on the 197, but the txi wakes are noticeably better. I do love the lines on the 197 though, one of the sexiest boats in my opinion.

    Glad we could do it @bigskieridaho. Hopefully next time the fisherman will find another place to fish. I don't get it, I've never seen anyone catch anything larger than a 6" perch in that cove.

    I got a cell phone ticket a couple years ago in Portland. Everyone here drives so darn slow, I guess they have to give cell phone tickets to make revenue. ;)

    I'm about 200lbs and 6'3". I skied stock settings with the bindings slightly forward, about 1/4". It was my first ride on the ski but it dealt really good, coming off an Ho s2. Hoping to see some new line lengths this summer.

    So...... I finally got my ski. The original ski was never found, but Kyle at Wiley's replaced it and made it right. Its really nice to do business with a standup company. I'm sure everyone in this community in the PNW knows about Wiley's, but if you don't, they are good guys that know how to talk about skiing and how to take care of customers.

    Ski still hasn't shown up. Called fedex and filed a claim, they are working on it. Hope we can figure something out.

    @sunvalleylaw, I took a leap of faith and bought the blue one without trying them. Hope I get it back and I get to try it. Otherwise it's back to my s2 for the season.

    I'm about to cry right now. The sun is finally supposed to make an appearance here in Oregon this weekend. I had plans to ski it this weekend. Hopefully something positive happens and it either shows up or fedex does something to make it right.

    Expressing my anger and frustration. I was so excited to receive my brand new D3 Arc-S yesterday. First new ski for me in five years. Fedex said it was delivered yesterday at noon, but I don't have it. Thinking someone swiped it off my front porch. So pissed off right now.

    @chris55, myself and a buddy of mine both broke our ankles (talus fracture) in animals do to non release in otf falls. Technique will certainly help, but otf falls happen once in a while. I went to Wiley's and my buddy is on reflex, we both have been injury free for a while now.

    @RazorRoss3, I think @MickeyThompson was implying that Regina is a full time pharmacist and elite pro skier. Jeff Rogers comes to mind too. He owns a drilling company I think, and obviously an elite pro. There is hope for you as a pro too. We'll be rooting for you!!
