  1. It mine, it’s been a great boat, if anyone’s interested please reach out! Bryan Dougherty 317-437-5745
  2. I received this email from Brenda this week: I am still stringing up handles, but am low on inventory so I am calling skiers and taking orders over the phone. For information and updates regarding InTow, please go to the InTow website at www.jlbmfg.com. I will have handle stock leftover after I finish all of my current orders, but am not certain I will have all diameters available. Since you are one of the first skiers to reach out, then there's a good chance I'll have the diameter needed and if so will be able to ship your order mid July or so.
  3. It could be worse! Today My M8 ski partner @OldGuysRule was ripping his new senate. At the end of his set he commented on the awesome design on the ski. Upon further inspection the “design” he was referring to was actually sticker residue. To make matters worse it took 5 minutes to convince him it wasn’t part of the ski design!
  4. The ez ski is awesome to get kids behind the boat. My two boys started on it and have used it with countless other kids. It is very easy to use and kids are successful on the first try and gain confidence quickly. We then moved our boys to some O’brien Trainer skis that I modified with a small weight on the tails. This keeps the tips up and makes starts very easy. Once again worked great and is an easy next step. Only trick is to have a good person holding the rope in case of a fall. The person holding the rope makes or breaks the experience. Let the rope go to late and it drags the kid, let go to early and the skis stop quickly and the kid could do a face plant. Have fun and make it fun for the kids. Bryan
  5. Kamado grill (big green egg, primo etc.) in my opionion is the most versatile. Pretty much maintaince free, smokes, sears, cooks pizza etc. I use mine 3-4 times a week year round. My Weber hasn’t been uncovered in a couple of years. There is a little learning curb with lump charcoal but the versatility and the taste of the food prepared makes it worth while. My Primo sits uncovered outdoors year round holds up well to the elements. Will never go back to gas at other fuel.
  6. I am not sure how to explain it but they definitely did not work for me and want to make sure the original poster doesn't end up like me and have brand new inserts to go with his damaged bindings like I do. I would call radar first, I spoke with the retailer to double check before buying they told me they definitely would work. After the fact Radar told me that the vapor liners I bought would not work with my strada boots. This was from a very nice Radar rep who researched and returned my call.
  7. Please note: My strada's were the style with the white r on the side and grey and black liners.
  8. I have strada boots that I used vapor liners in, the liners were way to big. The strada boots were in nearly perfect condition. They were a spare set I had for backups. Both boots are now torn and unusable. I called radar and they confirmed what I had already figured out, the vapor liners don't fit a strada binding. The store I purchased them from said they would work. Take this info for what it is worth but I have damaged binding which were in like new condition due to trying the vapor liners. I tried to by just buy vapor boots and nobody sells just the boots, even radar couldn't provide them. I wish I would have just spent the 150.00 bucks towards new vapor boots.
  9. @Orlando76 my son who is now almost 5. Used the phrase "go boat" as one of his first words. He used to say it all the time and multiple times. Most people who didn't ski had no idea what he was talking about. We had to do a lot of explaining that he was a water skier!
  10. @OldGuysRule just helping you out the D3 didn't match your swim trunks. All is well with the new HO. @OldGuysRule making a fashion statement! B By the way thanks for the ski, best one I have ever ridden!
  11. Mine were canceled as well, to good of a deal to be true!
  12. @richarddoane What brand of lift/canopy are those beautiful boats sitting on? Thanks!
  13. @Edbrazil really love reading your posts! Keep the history coming!!
  14. @roberto I am trying the Quest 45 coming from an original Quest. Only a few sets but I have been smacking buoys all over the place. I do feel the 45 is a lot less work than he original Quest but I can't seem to get comfortable, I feel early but not wide just as described. I am no expert on skis and setup and not any help just reporting a similar experience.
  15. @OB is right on, every round has to count towards ranking or nobody shows. I have attempted to run ability based/handicapped events with the intention of uniting the divide between the grassroots skiers and the more advanced "ranking chaser" (I am included there). It hasn't worked in uniting the two groups. I understand the ranking format but until that changes I think it will be difficult to generate any true competition into backyard tournaments. This model is working on a small scale (see the buckeye buoy tour) but it takes organizers and skiers who are willing to sacrifice a round or two and ski grassroots divisions/fun format. It works somewhat in other sports like golf, bowling etc. but in my opinion would take major restructuring in waterskiing.
  16. Trying to find specs, have a cottage on small private lake with a rule that boats must measure at or under 20ft and also have a published manufacturers specs at 20ft or below. Right now only options are Nautique and Mastercraft would love to have another option. Regardless if it improved on the LX it should be a player. Already like the walk thru bow.
  17. Iphone 4s updated, always have to login when visiting the site. Never stay logged in, The problem started last spring when I got a new phone due to warranty issues.
  18. I never had them ski with me. We progressed to trainer skis, tied together and with the tow rope pulling the skis. I get in the water and help steady the skis, as the boat goes I steady until the skis are on plain. We then went to a knee board to get our son used to holding the load of the rope. Next, I plan to weight the tail of the ski so he can try deep water starts on his own. Hope this helps.
  19. My vote is for the Ez Ski Trainer. Instant success and a big confidence booster. I have 4yr old and 2 yr old sons who love the Ez Ski. They love it so much I had to buy to so I could pull them together and free up some skiing time for dad. I have had at least 10 sub 5 yr old kids use the ski all were successful and loved it. My 2 yr old started skiing last summer on the Ez Ski well before his second birthday. My 4 year old has progressed to trainer skis and knee board but he stills loves his Ez Ski. Here is a link, I highly recommend! http://m.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Airhead-EZ-Ski-100-Trainer&i=715458
  20. Anyone know if it is possible to watch the Masters on the big screen via a roku box? Tried to beam with twonky but no go. Thanks in advance
  21. @MattP you worked with me a couple of weeks ago, thought the problem was solved but I still can't stay logged in on my iphone 3G or wifi.
  22. @ShaneH understood. I just think MSRP @ 30k over what you can buy one for is silly.
  23. @ShaneH I don't know exact figures for the Mastercraft but understand that 88k is unrealistic. My point is why do these dealers (not just Mastercraft) inflate the prices to these extremes just silly in my opinion. I think I know the answer just don't see the point!
