  1. Kind of a dirtbag move on mattm’s part by far.
  2. I took the time to read all 50 plus pages of this safe sport thing. This thread seems to be a rehash of the prior thread, just in different statements. It pretty much comes down to join AWSA and ski tournaments or don’t join AWSA. Pretty simple. I will not be joining AWSA because I don’t really ski tournaments anymore. So I’ll opt out.
  3. I do not talked to ML or have any affiliation with them. I gave my own opinion on both ropes. I never said S lines were poor quality I said they were stretchy. I don’t walk the fence with many things and I tell it the way i see it. Please don’t keep me connected with ML. weather or not you care for me or not it’s not fair to have ML tied to me.
  4. @drago let’s clearly here are saying under a load a 60 foot 15 off of greater will stretch feet or will stays stretched out feet? Under a load yes I can see that. After a set and remeasuring the rope I don’t see the rope staying that long.
  5. Never stopped skiing. Just did not ski tournaments
  6. Maybe this conversation should of been had prior to the bashing of a new rope company as a school/life project and placing a new rope company with no real history of quality or longjetivy on a pedastoll Per slalom Steve from is post at the beginning “There are ropes that are stiffer and ropes that stretch more, ok. But what is "good" and what is "bad," what is "forgiving" vs what is "performance," how does one distinguish "higher quality" from "lower quality," etc? “ Very interesting.
  7. @Drago the possibility of a rope that is tied correctly and the correct length stretching feet is veruley impossible. Need to see proof.
  8. I’m sorry tournaments. I corrected my post.
  9. If you must know I stoped skiing tournaments in 2012. Have started to get back into skiing and have been trying new ropes to see what is new since I have been out for so long. Because I have tried both ropes I figured I’d chime in.
  10. Great product. I wish success to Ryan.
  11. @ScottScott of you must know I have been on this forum since 2011. I prefer to keep my profile private because it is really nobody’s business.
  12. Interesting everyone falls over S Lines but when there is another rope company with a price point rope to compete with S Lines everyone get there but in a pucker and yells foul.
  13. @scoke not sure who you are but Thanks. I live in Washington. If ever down there I may take that as an invite.
  14. @MI3Eventer that is my opinion about the rope performance. Nothing was said about the quality.
  15. @scoke S lines has the same basic picture showing there rope machine
  16. @Mastercrafter not bashing S lines. People ask for opinions on how the rope feels. Not everyone is going to like S lines nor ML. . Just like not everyone likes HO or Radar ropes. Should me mad or talk down to somebody because they don’t agree with you. Oh I’ve been on the forum since 2011
  17. Skiing in nor cal is generally good until thanksgiving. But there are those times where it will get cold sooner then later. It is reall a crap shoot.
  18. @LK_skier what dictates the size of a binding is the toe rubber. The heel and overlays are the same size. Overlays can be tightened but that will not make the boot bigger or smaller. Just tighter. You can buy a medium and pull it down. Call Willeys and talk with them for ideas.
  19. @LK_skier yes all lengths. Just a better connection with this rope. When I load the rope is there. No delay 22 thru 38 off. One of the best ropes out of the box.
  20. I have been skiing with an S Line R3 and never was really happy with it just stretched too much. Frankly it just sucked. Waist of 85.00. Tried a Z line and it was golden. Limited stretch felt connected at all times with the rope. Something I never felt with the S lines.
  21. Just received my Z line and I’m very impressed. No stretch unlike S lines Comp. looks and feels like better quality. I felt connected with the rope right out of the box. Same price. All in tolerance after multiple rides.
  22. @Orlando76 the last part of ntx statement was uncalled for without having all the facts. This may of come form out of the blue for the dismissed team members and who knows how the news was delivered. And to make a statement such as under perform was just wrong.
  23. @ntx for you to say Nautique got rid of promo guys for under Performing is a VERY STRONG UNINTELLIGENT STATEMENT when you have NO idea how and why Nautique based there desicion on who to cut. I can say it was not for In your words “underperforming”. Many former team members had 10-30 years plus. They gave up our weekends and sacrificed family time for a sport all of us love. Maybe you should get your facts straight before making such a POST. I don’t know how much you know about tournaments and promo teams but obviously not too much by your comments.
