    Knee help

A few years back when I had my second hip replaced, my surgeon had switched to a different manufacturer. When I checked the new hip mfg on the internet I noticed that the new hip mfg was touting the robotic assisted surgery. When I saw my surgeon for the last visit prior to surgery, I asked him if he now used the robotic assist, his response was priceless, " Do you use the navigation system on your car to drive home? I've done this over 5,000 times. I know my way home."
  2. Congratulations to Chelsea. Perhaps some well deserved Farm Worker....
  3. scuppers perhaps www.gatorbak.com. I have had it for approx 10 years. I would buy it again, but I think it will outlive me.
  4. Cheers to lpskier, referencing Sinatra and Key West in the same post. I would toast, but on a sober break for May.
  5. More water ski nostalgia. Copyright 1969, price 45 cents. But don’t drop the soap!
  6. Should be able to get calorie count (plus average HR, Max HR) using Whoop.
  7. One name not mentioned yet. My wife likes the GlideSoul vests. I have seen a few others in the Clermont area.
  8. Never skied there, but I understand it is frequented by redneck mothers. I'll apolgize in advance for my insane musical reference.
  9. Sorry no. My wife volunteers for Dreamplex and asked me after the fact if I would post on BOS; thanking Clint, Swiss and the volunteers for their considerable time and efforts. Do to restrictions some of the adaptive skiers have and with covid they really did not want a lot of spectators besides family. I'm assuming Dreamplex will do this again, possibly at Swiss. If so I'll try to be more prepared. You can visit their website cfldreamplex.com and scroll to the bottom and sign up for their newsletter for future events, pics and a complete rundown on their many varied activities.
  10. Thanks so much to Clint Stadlbaur and all the staff of Swiss Ski School for hosting Central Florida Dreamplex for last Saturday's Adaptive Water Ski Day. Clint drove, instructed, and cheered for over 15 Dreamplex members, who got to ski behind Swiss Ski School's new Nautique on beautiful Lake Caroline. Special thanks to the many volunteers from Central Florida Dreamplex who assisted in and out of the water. The efforts of all provided countless smiles and memories for the Dreamplex skiers and support team.
  11. Somewhat. 20+ years ago I had similar popping sensation. If I remember correctly, diagonosed as a partially torn bicep tendon. I'm not a doctor, but easy enough to check. Have someone hold your hand similar to a handshake. Then try to rotate that hand/forearm slowly. If it hurts like hell that's my guess. Count your lucky stars you didn't rupture it. But see a professional.
  12. Agree with the above posts, nice skiing and driving on a beautiful day. Curious, there is a vertical black tape or mark on the windshield bottom to driver's right side. Is this for lining up with boat guides and was it supplied by MC or yourself? When we drove one a couple weeks ago there was talk of some sightline perhaps frosted on windshield in the near future.
  13. Thanks to Action Water Sports, Mastercraft, Freddie Winter and Lou Alcamo for a fun afternoon to experience the new ProStar. From their spectacular grand opening with the night jump, fun affordable C class tournaments and the introduction of the new ProStar, Action Water Sports and Mastercraft continue to impress. My wife and I were the last crew on Friday pm, arriving just after Roger and Tel. Freddie was knowledgible and gracious, but as we are friends of Lou's (we own his 2018 Promo) we gave Freddie a break from the heat. So a couple old ski dogs and a lady got to play with the new ProStar. I agree with the other posters; it skis well, tracks better and easier to drive, quiet, etc. I would add this boat is solid. After we skied and drove, Lou got in the seat add did a couple donuts to roughen up the water and drove through them, very smooth and not a sound. Mastercraft's "new advanced construction process " makes a very solid tight boat. I don't understand all the details of the process, but the results impress. Also all have reported great wakes. I would add that I did not see any additional weights or bags (Freddie can correct me if I missed them). Just us and our ski gear. Hard to imagine wakes getting better, but perhaps possible by adding to individual taste. All in all a very impressive boat.
  14. skierjp. The 3rd person was the driver's young daughter in the second rd along with boat judge. No big deal imo. I know there were just driver and boat judge (me) when I was in boat for 1st round 2nd segment. Fun Tournament put on by Action Water Sports. Say hi to Tracy.
