  1. Anyone know how to get ahold of Ron to order some fins? Thanks
  2. Most RV/Plumbing antifreeze is meant to be used in plastic pipes and does not have the anti-corrosive properties of traditional automotive coolant. Make sure you if you use the pink stuff, that it clearly indicates it is safe in metal. Leaving the block empty will allow rust to form, so even if the temps don't drop too low, its best to fill block with antifreeze vs drained.
  3. That question opens up many others, as you mentioned style, line length, level of aggression.. etc. Based on my own experience at 34mph, the EVO-S is a little softer and finishes the turn with more angle than the EVO. Again that's my experience and my style. Further I have found, the EVO and EVO S respond well to a less aggressive and more patient style as you shorten. I have not tried the NRG, but both the EVO and EVO S are great skis. Lots of good deals right now on the 2018 EVO. Good luck.
  4. thanks @OldGettingYoung and @skihound , I didn't realize Bow had a ramp. I will get in touch with them.
  5. Anyone know a good site where my son (B2) could pay for some drop in jump sessions, on the odd weekends? Thanks
  6. I'm looking at a new Senate Pro 67 or Goode XTR. Anyone know the width profile dimensions of either or both skis? May seem like a strange request, but I'm looking for surface area under foot and towards tail to assit in getting up after coming back from a 2 year injury recovery. Currently using a 69 senate to build deep start strength, but getting into trouble with big ski 32 and deeper. thanks
  7. @Horton, thanks for the review. I enjoy all your reviews and value them as a good, objective, reference point for new gear. Based on my experience I would say you have realy nailed the feel of the Quest and done a great job articulating that experience.
  8. @skibrain - I would definately echo Horton's comments, that you don't think about the ski while on it. I move around way too much, but this ski does not react to me. The Quest stays level through the turn, and maintains its speed. The Quest casts out effortlessly and smoothly off the 2nd wake, allowing you to be in great position at the bouy line. Overall, I just find it easy to ski well on. Not many sets on it yet, but the feeling has been positive since the first few rides. I was on a RCX years ago, then been on Goodes since, with a two week stint on the X7 last year after a clinic with Nate. I found the X7 a great stable ski, but a lot of work across course. I found the Nano One, great at 28'/14m, but overall a lot of work at every point as I shortened the line. I would say in my humble opinion the Quest feels somewhere between a 9900/9960 and an X7. Exactly what I have been looking for.
  9. We are anxiously waiting on the full review! I'm on a new Quest after the Nano One. Very curious to hear your opinions???
  10. The double power shells are great. Not worth the money to switch to Reflex unless there is some problem with powershells. I've had both, and there is no difference in performance, unless you are a RTP then the Reflex is better. Sit tight until you need to replace. Save the cash for the camaro!
  11. Thanks for all the comments. Stroke, glad you got things sorted out. I have no problem with Goode. Almost anything you buy now, electronics etc has only a 1 yr warranty. I was just hoping the ski would last longer than 2 yrs. That said, after trying several other skis, the Goode fits my style best and I am going to order a 9960. Any comments on the 9960 over the Nano or the 9900?
  12. Hi Ballers, Loved my Goode 9900, which just broke under the bindign plate. I'm a little shy about shelling out another 1500 after only 2 years, as well as the stories of people getting hurt. Anyone else done this and gone back on one? Also, anyone on the Fusion? Or any suggestion on what's closest to a Goode? Thanks, Terry
