    I live almost 2 hours north of Montreal, in Mont-Tremblant. I wish I could ski more, I guess I don't know the right people... My uncle's boat is already parked until next spring :S

    I got a regular senate mid season last year and got 2 OTF, one ending my season with a concussion. It was free skiing, pretty much exactly as you described, crossing the second wake. The way I was analysing it, I was crossing the wakes with too much tip out of the water, so when I was going down that 2nd wake it was grabbing the tip and sending me over the bars. I have then moved my binding to 30" from the tail, and took one degree out of the wing. The ski ride a lot more level to the water and its noticeably faster than before.

    The washer goes under the head of the screw as you probably figured it out by now... Be careful not to overtighten those screws, the cushioning under the plate and the rubbery washer can make it feel like they are not screwed tight when they actually are... I felt like the boots were a bit tight after I bought them late last year so I put shoe trees in them to compress the liners a little when not in use. It gives a lot more room for the toes while keeping a natural fit. The shoe trees look a lot like this one but with a much sharper or pointier toe end.

    I got myself a pair of closeout 2011 stradas and have a front vector and artp that I don't need. I only skied 4 days on them late this season... Message me if you're interested (I'm in eastern canada)
