  1. So never gave it much thought in my younger years, but now that I am more than 5 decades old , what "weight" should I be using for my ski size. My vest does hold a little water (O'neill Revenge Comp) , shorts are always surf shorts usually quiksilvers and they shed water well. Just wondering if I should be going with my true weight or weight with gear ? Oh and my ski is an A2 Syndicate 65.5. Weight without gear is 165 in ski season.
  2. Always was a big supporter of Oneill boardies UNTIL I made the switch to Quiksilver Highlines , retain less water (hydrophobic) and they have a great fit , tighter on thighs.
  3. @RideTheWood I may be intererested in that ski for 200 shipped email me @ twglydon@gov.pe.ca , please include pic of top sheet and bindings. TIA.
  4. @tru-jack if they did not sell can you let me know how much ? Thanks .
  5. @GaryWilkinson none that will not impede his ability to ski , but he will do so without pain :D
  6. Cannot see you going wrong with either ... it is my understanding the Senate is now full carbon so your getting the same material in either . The 2018 Senate is a great looking ski IMO (not that looks get buoy count) Good luck ! Let us know how you chose.
  7. @andjules is your S2 still available , thanks.
  8. WTB sz 9 HO Apex binding (front and rear lff). Located in prince edward island.
  9. @jayski what funding is available for grassroots to get a club/course setup , thank you for the introduction. I used to have a contact on the WSWC but she has since moved on before we could start up. Repping P.E.I. proudly , big fish , small pond!
  10. Wow after reading the comments glad I did not buy that gently used Elite and went with my A2 instead ... can someone elaborate ? I skied Kidder and KD for years ... perhaps a platinum is in my future .
  11. 360 cdn to spend , what do you have ?
  12. Althought not me selling it I did stumble across this neat old hydrodyne !
  13. @Horton for us a low 2 new skiers this summer, BUT they did not come from where2waterski.com , that being said I do not think it matters . I will continue to offer my experience to ANYONE that asks, #passthehandle .
  14. @DangerBoy my girlfriend rips on my old KD AFTER dropping a drop ski (just happens to be a celebrity) ... she struggles with two foot deeps and we have been looking for a solution , was thinking of getting a Connelly Mid sx or like you stated Jobe hemi . @savaiusini just saw the hovercraft on IG the other day , perhaps worthy of looking into BUT she really is adept at longline freeskis with nice symetrical turns with tight line ... she just gets frustrated on the deep starts . Perhaps after 40 plus years on slalom I am not teaching her right , she did however get out on the slalom with the barefoot boom attached.
