  1. Thanks for the description as well. Just placed an order for 3 :-)
  2. Does anyone have any experience converting a 2-point stern cable lift to a single point? The Nautique 200 has a single lifting ring in the stern and the boat house that I am using is a 2-point for the stern. Any help and or info would be greatly appreciated.
  3. @Horton .. These shirts look great. Whats the material? Curious if its the new soft material a lot of shirts seem to be made from these days.
  4. @RichardDoane These are exactly what I was referring to! Thank you
  5. I've seen quite a few boats, especially promo boats, that have metal poles attaching the Bimini to the hull instead of the black nylon straps. I've seen some really nice ones that seem to 'press in' to flush mounted receivers on the deck. Are these coming from the factory or is this through an aftermarket channel. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  6. @Live2ski I believe it comes standard with the 6.0L ZR4 with the option to upgrade to the direct injection H5 or H6. Could be wrong but I think that's what the intro video confirmed. The price is quite a leap but I can see some of that being justified. As @ScottScott said, R&D was a factor, add in all that seadek which requires an extra production process of the floor needing to be gel coated, the new electronics, micro tuners, automatic hydro gate.. all these small things add up.
  7. High end slalom skis. Seems most pro shops around me don't offer the really high end HO, Radar, O'brien slalom ski's. Not sure if D3 or Goode let pro shops rep their stuff? I know that as buoy chasers we represent a very small portion of the target customer but it would be nice to see something and support a local shop without resorting to the internet. Masterline ropes would be nice too!
  8. @CCRSKR You have to enter your line length and speed for every pass. The boat takes care of the rest
  9. @jjackkrash Thanks for the link. Great review. No surprise, but seems Nautique really did their homework on this boat. Game changer
  10. @robertsheld I was a member at a lake and the owner of it had just had hip replacement. For at least a season or so he got up with two and dropped a ski. But in my personal experience coming back from any injury and especially surgery, its all about PT and rehab. Just my two cents.
  11. wonder if the ballast can be set to the port side to offset the driver weight when just a driver is in the boat pulling a skier?
  12. I love where Nautique is going with this boat while continuing to be innovative and not afraid to try new thing. Being carbon fiber I am shocked to see this weighs more than the 200 which has a dry weight of 2,850 (I think) compared to the 2,900 pounds listed for the new design. Also looks like my post about this being $130k moderately equipped was a bit off. Not saying you couldn't get there as the H6 alone is a 10k upgrade but seems that would be the price of this boat fully loaded. I like the idea of the micro tuners, the wake looks great from the video and I'm a fan of the closed bow only. Sad to see the 200 not on the site anymore. I was told they would be keeping them in the lineup.
  13. @vtmecheng Agreed. And I didn't look at it from the buyers perspective rather the seller.
  14. With wakeboard boats going for 150k-200k I cant imagine there isn't a market for these. But I do agree.. that is a steep price. The upside is the price for used ski boats will definitely go up.
  15. Seadek also adds an extra step to build process as they now have to gel coat the floor of the boat before installing seadek..
  16. @DW @LoopSki I don't know much more than what I posted but I do know that the 200 will not be going away.
  17. As we get closer to what we've been waiting for I'm happy to share with you what I have already told a couple ballers.... Boat will be composite material, closed bow only and will have sea deck flooring.. Price is going to be around 130k for a moderately equipped boat (MSRP).. this is without trailer, or tax and license. I also heard that they will be taking deposits directly (around 5k) and that they expect the boat to sell out the same day. Take this with a grain of salt but this did come from the dealer who was on the phone with his Nautique Rep right in front of me. This was about 3 weeks ago and I've been trying hard to keep a tight lid on it. I called today and asked personally if I could disclose and got a "yes". Regardless I'm excited to see the new hull and how accurate this is.
  18. The black and white looks sharp!
  19. Jody, thanks for the feedback. I think they call the standard multi port 6 liter a ZR4? at least according the Nautique and PCM websites. But I will admit, you know WAY more than me when it comes to everything about skiing and boats. Legend! I'd love to get an H6, but man, 10k is a steep upgrade
  20. Hey! Ballers... Need some help deciding between the standard ZR4 and the upgraded direct injection H5. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, I read somewhere in the forum about boatmate trailers not being the best choice for the 200 due to damaging the hull?? I may have misread this so please excuse if so. Haven't settled on the Nautique yet as I need to check out the bumblebee but I'm leaning that way.
  21. Glenn Plake runs into 35off. He's in one of the warren miller videos I just cant remember which one? Higher Ground or Fusion maybe?
  22. Since you are considering the Lexus 470 is appears that 8 cylinders are fair game here. On that note, I tow my boat with an Escalade and LOVE IT! You can barely feel the boat behind you and the SUV has all the amenities you could wish for. Ive heard the Infinity's are quite nice as well.
  23. I had the great pleasure of skiing with Horton a couple of weekends ago at his lake in Bakersfield. I cant thank Horton and his wife (as well as newly arrived baby) enough for their hospitality and him taking pity and offering to give me a couple of pulls. Being the first time that I got to ski behind the new Centurion I couldn't stop raving about how great it was to ski behind. I own a '08 response and was thinking of switching to 200 next season.. I am now seriously contemplating this as my next boat. Watching Horton ski on the warp was also a sight to see. running deep into 38' and making it look effortless. I am sure that his technical knowledge and countless hours chasing buoys most of his life have a great deal to do with it. But he could not stop bragging to everyone about how amazing the ski was. Thank you again Horton and I look forward to skiing with you again.
