  1. This was the boat I learned to ski behind. A 1968 Carver runabout. It was pretty advanced for it's day with Volvo sterndrive, 289 Crusader with closed cooling system.
  2. This was your first life jacket for skiing.
  3. We were at PerfSki a couple weeks ago and also got super help Danielle on setting us with a couple trick skis. They were being sent to our home in MN before we even left Florida. Thanks again!
  4. Sheryl Crow:https://2paragraphs.com/2021/07/sheryl-crow-59-looks-amazing-on-water-skis-soaking-up-the-sun/
  5. I made some shelves out of some old trick skis.
  6. MasterCraft did have Tournament Approved V-drive in the early 2010's. The 214V. The Hull was based on the 197. http://www.usawaterski.org/pages/TournKit/AWSA/Chief%20Driver/AWSATowboatUseAndDocumentationReport.pdf
  7. This thread got me thinking about the growing popularity of vintage racing. All those guys look like there having a ton of fun. So...what if there was vintage skiing events? Tow boats couldn't be newer 20 years old, skies had to be at least 10 years old.
  8. Found this ski (and a few others) in my dad’s garage rafters
  9. This would be a nice upgrade to one of the Airguide Speedometers: https://www.nauticlaugic.com/airglide.html Still would retain the "original" look, but it would be a GPS speedometer Then have the other upgraded to Perfect Pass or Zero Off.
  10. I would worry more about the actual digging process so equipment does make contact. Make sure there are not any easements that the power company MAY have for that line to do maintenance.
  11. @Horton Agree for shortline high end skiers, but for the average Joe week-end skier it could be a 4th option to look at.
  12. I was thinking of a Nautique 196 or Mastercraft's mid nineties 190's
