  1. It is getting closer to the 2023 Waterski ITALY tour (Sept 25th - Oct 11th). This is your chance to experience a once in a lifetime Waterski Vacation. Contact me at info@waterskiitaly.com and grab the last spots. You won't regret it!!!
  2. Tried with new puck and problem solved!
  3. Thank you and so would that mean the pucks are broken? Sorry for my ignorance but what dose that mean that the pucks are shorted out?
  4. A little update. Took the head unit and tried it in another boat and it lit up and everything working so this tells me that there is nothing wrong with it and I am thinking it is some wire that playing a trick. Later on in the day I pulled out the antennas and thr head unit start working. Why would it go all blank when the antennas are connected? Any ideas anyone?
  5. A few weeks a go I got a new head unit/display unit for the boat a 2011 200 6,0. It has worked fine but yesterday going to pull a skier the display lights up but doesn't show anything. Left the dock to take the boat for a spin and everything came to live again but as I was changing letter and speed it died again and hasn't come back. Only the back light is on. I have an old head unit that works and tried it and dose the same thing. This tells me that it might not be the head unit. Have anyone had the same issue? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you Thomas
  6. Testimonial from Alan and Sue Pickrell who came on the inaugural tour in 2017! “ Our 10-lake 15-day Waterski ITALY tour with Thomas was an experience of a life time. Thomas did a masterful job of organizing and guiding the tour. The ski sites provided a variety of settings and a chance to see much of Italy that typical foreign tourists might not experience. Thomas made special arrangements for food and wine delicacies that represented the regions of Italy we visited. All the water skiers, drivers, hosts and communities we met along the way made us feel welcome and appreciated. I hope they could tell how much we appreciated them as well. This is a trip not to be missed and we will remember it forever. Thank you for all you put into it Thomas .” - Alan & Sue Pickrell, Washington, USA
  7. Testimonial “ Italy was on our bucket list. What could be better than combining our favorite water sport with traveling to Italy? Turns out not much could be better! Thomas planned and executed this first tour nearly perfect. The areas covered, the mode of transportation, the places we stayed, the lakes that we skied at and the stories that go with them, the people we met, and the food we ate were all A1 perfect! In fact he should rename the tour to " The eat and ski Italy tour". If you love to eat, especially seafood, and love to waterski this is your tour. As a side note, I am a vegetarian and Thomas took meticulous care in making sure I had great food to eat as well. My husband and I have a love for traveling and exploring but rarely go back to the same place because 'how do you know where your favorite place in the world is if you don't go explore'? This is one of three places we would like to return to or things we would like to do again. We are definitely going to try to do this tour and Italy again.” - Mark & Sherry Jenkins, Washington, USA
  8. Another Testimonial ” Paul and I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you really did an amazing job organizing and executing the 2017 ”Water Ski Italy Tour”! We are so glad we decided to join. We have been bragging about the fabulous job you did and were impressed with how easy you made everything for us, from the airport pick up to the 5-star meals and accommodations, you exceeded our expectations with the itinerary. Let’s not forget to mention the skiing, we are still reminiscing about the warm welcome, superb conditions and excellent coaching we experienced. We can’t thank you enough for the passion and detail you put into the tour both on the water and off. Bravo, Thomas we will be back”. Waterski Italy truly delivered the “Trip of a Lifetime ”. - Christine & Paul Celley, Wisconsin, USA
  9. Totally understand and since this is an annual trip I look forward having you in the future. Most likely there will be more dates in the future to accommodate the rising demand.

  11. For those of you who don't have social media and haven't seen some of the testimonials about the tour I will post some of them here for everyone. "This a tour that will tantalizes the taste of every skier with any level of ability or experience. Every ski site was an experience of its own, all set in beautiful Italian locations that are for the most part away from the hustle and bustle of the major cities and tourist sites. Thomas had arranged magnificent accommodation in great locations throughout the trip with the food being an absolute highlight. Every meal was the best of the local cuisine accompanied by very beautiful wines. Everything ran very smoothly from pickup to drop off. I will be back to do it all again anther day." Mark Bunge Victoria, Australia.
  12. The 5th annual ”Waterski ITALY tour” will happen again between Sept 25th and Oct 11th 2023. ”Waterski ITALY tour” is a guided tour from the north east of ITALY towards the west and then all the way south to Napoli. There are 8 exclusive spots being open to any level skier and non skiers are welcome aswell. Like past years we will visit 10 of Italy’s best ski sites but in 2022 one new lake was added so there will be 11 ski sites in 2023. With skiing and an unforgettable culinary experience the tour is something that must be experienced as the tour travels through 6 different regions (Piemonte, Lombardi, Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia Roman, Lazio & Campania) and each region producing its own culinary treasures. I would say that there are few if any country in the world where you will find such diversity in food in one country. As a matter of fact it was suggested that I name the tour “Waterski & Eat ITALY tour” Since 1991 I have come to work in Italy running ski school. I have enjoyed these past 30+ years visiting, skiing, competing & capturing photos for waterski magazine of all these different ski sites, and been exposed to some of the best food in the world and become a (as they say in Italy) ”Una buona forchetta”. I hope to share all this with all of you! 19. If he is doing good on both at 7 years old just starting off then go with RFF. It will help a ton with his gate which is a crucial part of the slalom course. I am LFF not a good slalom skier but I wish I was RFF. Someone mentioned LFF skiers get more bouy´s!? Lets just take a look at todays top slalom skier. Nate, Freddie Winter, Thomas Degsperi, Will Asher, Adam Sedelmajer (World Champ 3 event skier but a heck of a good slalom skier) Corey Vaughn ALL RFF including Andy Mapple and all have run 41off. I am sure I have forgotten someone. There will be an exception here and there but RFF would be the right choice no doubt about it. There worse thing you could do is to decide because it would make it easier with your other kids and they could share gear. If you think that way why make the question? RFF final answer.
  20. @ecno there is really only one ski out there which you should consider and it is Radar´s butter knife 65". It is by far the best ski you can get for your girlfriend especially if she eventually wants to learn the slalom course. You will make life so much easier for her on this ski and she will learn so much faster. She can use it easy up to 30mph. I recommend this ski for a lot of my students and it makes my work so much easier and they learn in now time. It is the best ski for the least amount of money! You will not regret buying this ski.
  21. @PondTraveller We are about hour and a half south of Venice by the coast, Not even a mile from the beach and a lovely fishing village Cervia. You can check out Waterski Italy on Facebook also.
