  1. after 29 years off, two complete knee replacements and some weight gain. I decided to give skiing a return. I was once a tournament slalom skier. I put on some 72" O'brien jumpers and went for it. I just couldn't hang on.I gave it a couple tries and before I got up the handle would just fly out of my hands. Any tricks or routines to get some strength back so I can ski again?
  2. In my day, You had to do 36 75' line before you could even consider 15 off
  3. I had to replace a broken hinge on a 2012 190. After removing pistons and with the help of vice grips to catch the nuts, the bolts can be removed from either or both sides of hinge. It is a two person operation as one needed to hold box open pare way while the other removes hardware.
  4. Would an intermediate buoy chaser hinder progression by skiing on a top level, perhaps too aggressive ski? If one struggles to get through 34/15 or just making 2 or 3 @ 36/15 on a pro level ski be better off on a ski that is a bit more forgiving. I just watched a video on the Works by Syndicate and it got me thinking.
  5. i need the trailering specs for a 2011/2012 ProStar190 Mostly the bunk spacing and any other important info. Plan is to float off of one and onto the other. Would like to be lcose when we do this
  6. 2010 may be available mid August. Team 200 between 800=900 hours. Open bow with filler cushion, block off,and tonneau. Stereo with 6 speakers, pop up cleats, Nautique tower with Roswell bimini, docking lights, underwater lights. Zero off, accent lights, heater, jump seat, back seat. trailer, minor scratches.
  7. a pontoon style (maybe others) swim raft 8 x8 0r 8x12 will float the lift so it can be towed.
  8. We can stare at it all day but it's still LFF!
  9. Would this work? Up in New England 800+/- hrs. 2010 team 200 all options. $42,000
  10. My Floe is 24V I have an older single panel from Floe that maintains both batteries all summer. Batteries are 10 seasons old. When removed for winter they are stored in my garage on Schumacher battery tenders. It came with a mount for the lift.
  11. I know this is old but it has surfaced on FaceBook recently. Has anyone tried this? Is it a good practice tool for when no course access is available or does it totally mess up your course skiing?
  12. If your DD is a conventional center engine mount allow the boat to "hangout" over the lift about 3 feet. It will balance the lift better and give you more shaft room.
  13. My experience with poly floaters is that they are well insulated and become scorchingly hot! Unless something has changed in their construction, I won't step on one bare footed!
  14. While your at it, You may want to order a new lift stop switch! Funny thing about lifts, they never screw up in the water position, always in the air position!
  15. I have a Zero Off that becomes so unreadable (faded) you can't tell if it's on or off. It makes it difficult when you go from a slalom 36 mph mode to a trick 14.5 for a swivel skier. I got another head from someone on Ski it Again but it was while in winter storage and have not yet installed or tried it out.
  16. Check out Floe. They have some nice features. Mine is in service 10+ and going strong
  17. I was looking into a Reflex R binding. I found one that the sides had been cut down. Is this a common mod and does it improve comfort?
  18. Careful how you load. TSA is not that good at repacking if they open up your stuff. (and they do!) they'll just jam everything in.
  19. Ya'll too young. EP Comp 1 was a game changer for many.
