  1. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll try giving Skip a call this week to double check on his stock - I think his cover might fit my use case best... At my home lake, it sits on a covered lift, tucked up decently under the canopy. Probably wouldn't throw the cover on much... Main reason for wanting a nice cover is for the 1-2 long weekend trips where it would be moored on a dock or buoy.
  2. @ReallyGottaSki Interested to see how you build your carbon fiber platform - post up the details there when you tackle that piece!
  3. Current cover for my 99 Nautique is pretty trashed so I'm in the market for a new one. Was looking to go w/ Skips Tumcas option but he's out of stock. Next up, I'm looking into skiboatcovers.com but 1st thought I'd see if anyone on the forum has a cover still in good shape they aren't using that they'd like to part with - thanks!
  4. @epnault I think a lot of us fall into that boat geek category...
  5. I've used this stuff twice before with nice results. https://www.mcmaster.com/5692T49/
  6. A couple favorites from this year so far -
  7. @robmollysilverlake I did leave them on. I just made sure to keep them as low and close to the lake bottom as possible so wave action wouldn't bang things around too much.
  8. I put them on my lift last Spring, so only one season of use. So far so good - they seem like a quality product to me.
  9. Just to wrap this up (I hope!) - back from the dealer and first water test went well. Ended up being the MAP sensor. Weird that it didn't throw a code.
  10. OK so the voltage at the pump does drop when it stumbles. I get a solid 14 volts as it is idling good and then when it stumbled it went down to 12-13 volts, then back up to 14 volts as it recovered. Should I swap in a new fuel pump relay you guys think and retry?
  11. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll next check the electrical connections and monitor the fuel pump voltage and report back what I see!
  12. Mine just has one it seems, under the floor next to the mufflers. I traced the fuel line from there both to the engine and to the tank and I'm not seeing another one.
  13. I've got a intermittent idle issue taking place on my 04 LXI with a 340 Monsoon engine. Not seeing any issues running at speed, just idle and low speed forward gear. Here's a couple videos: (trimmed the 1st video, stumble happens ~4 mins apart) (occurs at 30 seconds and 8 minutes) In the last 10-15 hours, the boat has new plugs, wire, fuel filter and distributor. I've also checked for codes and am coming up empty there. Given the quick fuel pressure drop takes place when it happens, I'm leaning towards it being a fuel pump issue but wanted to see if anyone else had a different thought. Have an appt with the dealer on May 12th but would love to solve it before then. Thanks in advance for taking a look!
  14. @BrennanKMN - Thanks! Picked up a 2004 Response LXI
  15. Been a great boat for me the last 5 years! Back to an open bow so this one is up for sale... http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=52694
  16. Swapping over the modules worked, thanks! Quick question - is there a way I can update hours? The hours from my previous boat carried over and I'd like to sync it up with the dash. Doing the system reset didn't seem to prompt setting hours.
  17. I picked up a new boat that currently has Stargazer Wake edition. Old boat that I plan to sell has the 3-event version. Am I OK to swap the master modules between boats so I can keep the 3-event version on my new to me boat? I plan to reach out to the folks at Perfect Pass on Monday to confirm, but just curious if anyone here know? Thanks!
  18. I think it's time to redo the S&S pic now: http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn189/dtm8119/3-8-2018%201-46-04%20PM_zpswv0iny6b.png
  19. @BrennanKMN you must have found your new tug. Used to see a TSC1 heading south on 11 when heading home periodically - just saw a newer one the other day now!
  20. We were just in that stage last year with our first child. A lot is going to depend on the kids size/proportions - our lil chunky guy didn't have much of a neck so it made things a little more difficult to find a comfortable vest. This one worked best for us but your mileage may vary. LINK
  21. @Zoro957 My dad would always say the same thing. Also "don't they know that the grocery store sells fish?"
  22. @303Skier there should be a label on the ECM that shows what part number it is, so you can figure out what MEFI version you have. I'm not sure on the reprogramming question...
  23. I had a 2002 Malibu where the ECM went out and it was version 2. Those guys in CA are where I got my replacement from. I know they are really tough to find
  24. Give these guys a call... https://goo.gl/YYH347
