  1. After much thought, I don’t think I can sell my boat. Thank you for all of your suggestions, but it’s better off in my garage, even if I don’t have as much time to use it. @6balls thank you for your second piece of advice. I think that is exactly how I feel.
  2. How does shipping a boat and trailer work?
  3. I have returned to college, and I'm now debating on selling my boat. It's a 2002 Moomba Outback, 337 hours, always in the garage, well maintained, very clean, stargazer w/zbox, great stereo system, and it has a great ski wake. I live in SE Idaho and am wondering the best way to go about putting it up for sale. There is a great classified site called KSL out of Utah that I will put it on. Is there other websites that I should post my boat on, and if so when is the best time to sell it. Also how should I factor the selling price when I have added options such as the Stargazer and the zbox. This boat is set up for skiers, even though it is has a good wake for boarding also (has no tower). I love this boat; I've had a couple guys ski behind it at 35off and liked the wake as well. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
  4. @ToddF is your boat: carb or fuel injected, dbw or mechanical? Thank you for your replies.
  5. I watched someone on a lake trolling by idling their inboard/outboard and dragging 5 gallon buckets to slow down the boat to trolling speed. I don't fish, so I don't know if that really works very good. My brother has tried to talk me into letting him fish out of my boat - never gonna happen.
  6. For the few of you that own moombas and have perfectpass, do you have your tach set to standard or inverted, and what model and motor do you have?
  7. How do you tell what version ov the zbox you have?
  8. @Brady are you saying goofy is right foot forward on a ski. I've never heard skiing referenced with the term goofy. On a snowboard RFF is goofy.
  9. I took advantage of your offer and would like to thank you. Two mainlines for the price of one, you can’t beat that.
  10. Knees? It makes my back hurt just watching that. I like to think of my legs as shock-absorbers . . . not my spine.
  11. Line up the front holes, then drill the back holes where needed.
  12. If you want a great instructional video, post some video of yourself skiing on this site and you will get some of the best instruction you can get - out of a video that is.
  13. I think stradas are a good choice if you are just skiing open water. I am debating on switching to stradas from my reflex bindings. I trust my reflex bindings 100% when I'm in the course. But whenever I free ski in open water, I get a touch nervous not being in a controlled enviroment while in the hardshell bindings.
  14. Did you run your laces snug or tight on your strada bindings?
  15. I think you should go with the senate, with your weight being so low. The senate is the same as the theory its just a little more narrow. I have a theory and a senate (and a strada), and if I was you I would take the senate over the theory. Just like Ed said, the theory is a little wide for 34mph. I would also stick to the senate and avoid the senate-C. If your just free skiing in open water, the normal senate will be the more forgiving ski for the open water conditions, and it's cheaper.
  16. I think the radar theory is a great ski, or even the radar senate considering that your so light. Also any of the radar bindings are really comfy.
  17. Thank you for all of your help.
  18. My suit is not leaking at the seals, seals look like brand new. I maintain the suit, it's in the stiching around the lower back where the leak is. I love the eagle drysuit. just don't care for the leak.
  19. I think the leak is on one of the seams where two pieces were sewn togethor. It's not leaking by a seal. On the inside of the suit the seams have some sort of tape over the stiching. I think this is where it's leaking. Any idea what I could use on the leak? Can the AquaSeal be used on the fabric or is it for the rubber seals? Or do I need to find some of the tape they used over the stiching.
  20. I have an eagle baggy drysuit and it has a slow leak somewhere around my lower back. The drysuit only has one season on it, and not a very busy season at that. I love this drysuit, I can layer while wearing it, and I think it has fairly low drag. I have worn a new assault hybrid also, and hands down I'd take the eagle over it. If it wasn't for the rubber seals, I don't think I would even notice I was wearing it. Has anyone had problems with an eagle suit leaking? If so, how did you resolve the problem?
  21. @horton on the website you posted above, the bindings description says "Bungee cord in the upper ankle section for emergency exit." So wouldn't they be similar to the stradas, I mean by not synching the laces down tightly so you can still release (I know the stradas have liners). I started skiing on a pair of radar primes and I see these bindings being similar, non-forgiving lower lace with bungee upper lace. I released in my radars as long as i didn't synch them down extremely tight. I personally see these bindings being similar to the radar vectors, just with a closed toe. I'm not trying to compare the their ability to release to the stradas, because I also like the stradas design better. It's just to me it seems that the Jobe's are designed to release.
  22. Are you sure the stereo is not in the glove box?
  23. What is the deal with the bindings on the the first wood slalom ski. Have you skiied on that ski.
