@Carl,
Good point, it all happens so fast at this age. Chad was. Ice enough to loan us a spare 66” 2016 Vapor to finish out the season. His Pro-Build is a 65”. If he skis well on the 66, I think I will know which way to go next spring.
My son and I both had skis inside of a single SportTube. Inside of the SportTube, my ski was in a Goode soft ski bag with a FinFirkin, and his was in a ski sock without a FinFirkin. Bummer
@KRoundy - I do not know for certain, but based on the timing of his offside falling apart, I’m speculating that it was our return flight from nationals.
I longed to live on a private lake since they day I realized they existed. Because of your Dad, that dream began fifteen years ago for me, and still exists today. I will pray for comfort for you and your family.
@unksskis - student athlete type benefits might include anything a scholarship athlete might receive (food programs, access to gyms or trainers, or even partial scholarships).
I have a 16 year old Boys 3 tournament skier who is evaluating colleges on both the value of the education, and the strength of the ski team. I am curious which schools provide the best experience for student athlete skiers? Or if any schools provide student athlete type benefits to high level collegiate skiers?
