  1. "Well he should be able to hang on to that, as he is as fit as a butcher's dog"
  2. I was looking at the Pelagic Gear website. I have a pair of their sunglasses and love them...but anyway, in the Boardshorts section there is photo of a waterskier. Just wondering who got that gig? Gotta be a Cali guy as they are a Costa Mesa company. Always cool to see skiers in ads...
  3. I checked with Chad Scott, he thinks he has 6 stop wins but no final.
  4. Anyone know who has the most wins for Big Dawg tourneys? Also who has the most overall wins in the final? I know they keep a lot of stats about the number of 38s, 39s and scores at 41 but I don't recall seeing who has the most wins.
  5. Thanks to all for the feedback. The boat is out of the water and at Munns shop where he has a forklift for the motor lift. Jody_Seal, I will email you about getting a pan. ShaneH, it sure would be nice if you and Munn had this fixed by the time I get back from Cabo! HA!!
  6. If it is the oil pan any ideas on the cost to repair?
  7. My EX343 with 962 hours started up today and had very little oil pressure. Upon opening the engine cover we saw oil in the bilge and when I pulled the stick it was mostly dry. I check the oil pretty regular and always watch the gauges. This was if it happened quickly. Oil filter was tight with no leaks, oil pressure sending unit tight with no oil residue. Nothing noted on top side with oil. Initial thought was rear main seal or maybe the oil drain line that runs from the bottom of the pan got a nick in it or rubbed a hole. Anyone had this issue? thoughts?
  8. Shane is off to an early start on the long road to sobriety...skied tonight and might have had a few beers to prepare for the coming days....
  9. Shane, so you will be ready to start another 28 day program come Monday, July 8th?
  10. Hey Ballers, I note that over 6000 of us have viewed this forum post to date. I think it would be a great show of support to Amanda and her family if each of you with a Facebook account would go and Like Amanda's page. There is currently 870 likes on her status page. Lets show her family how big her water skiing family is by moving that Like number into the thousands!
  11. There is a Facebook page set up for those that want to follow her condition. There is also information on her page for anyone who wishes to donate money to her mom (single mother, this is her only child) to help out with expenses. Amanda Hoffman Condition Update is the page name.
  12. Pulled Chad Scott through 41 in practice. Having Chad as my ski partner for years really increased my driving skills as well as my skiing scores. Now having Mike Munn for one of my ski partners keeps my skills sharp as Munn is one to "get out of step" every now and then and hit the boat really hard. Having Shane Hill as another ski partner now I keep a close eye on the mirror as you never know when he will have a spectacular YouTube moment that you wouldn't want to miss!
  13. I say get rid of the left hand gate buoy. As long as you are on the right side of the exit buoy what does it matter.
  14. Has anyone had a ticking noise coming from their engine that sounds like a lifter? No miss in the engine, just noise. Runs great, etc. just noisy. 600 hours on the boat.
  15. Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2011 Men's III National Slalom Champion.....
  16. It was not an issue of being on the wait list. He made a comment about there being too much controversy over his entry.
  17. We just got a note from Andy asking that we remove his name from the Cypress Big Dawg wait list.
  18. I still go by the words of the great Ken White. Whitey always said, "practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect."
