  1. +1 for Theraband Flexbar.
  2. At 52km, the 66" Ion S should be fine. Should you progress into 55-58km and start shortening the line you may want to size down to a 65". I'm also on an Ion S and in between sizes and actually prefer the larger ski where I'm at the bottom of the recommended weight range.
  3. Slow the boat down and ski for fun. Normally ski at 34.2, so ski a set at 30.4 and keep cutting the line till I miss. Or challenge a ski partner to a "how slow can you go" competition. Start at your opener and keep slowing the boat down in tournament increments to see who can run the slowest pass. Both actually force me to use good position and technique while also providing the most laughs/smiles.
  4. How about the 67" Carbon Omni - Wide Edition?
  5. Same as thager. Fin back .005 has always worked for me as water gets colder.
  6. What Terry said. Longer, forward, and slightly shallower than stock worked for me. ~6.965 ~2.465 ~0.775
  7. @ballsohard 68" - I ended up .025" longer, .005" shallower, and .02" forward of stock with the fin. Bindings at stock.
  8. @Anderson Like you I also went from a 2016 Vapor to a 2019 Vapor. Never felt as comfortable/stable on the '19 as I did the '16. Last season picked up the D3 Ion S and after some fin adjusting, the ski feels rock solid in the turns and fast cross course all with less effort on my part.
  9. 68" Ion S, 34mph, 35 off into 38. Fin longer, forward, & slightly shallower. Boots at factory. 6.970 2.470 0.780 30.5 7.5
  10. @S1Pitts try fin shorter (less tip)
  11. 2019 Malibu Response TXi ~300 hrs Single Axle Trailer, Cover, Rear Seats Included, Stereo, PCM Monsoon 409 6.0L, Zero Off, Ski Rack, Acme 525 Prop, PTM Edge Mirror See posting on SIA
  12. @CHodge, Yes it sold. Was in MI but no idea where now.
  13. Skied the 67 Senate and the 68 Vapor last year and preferred the Vapor.
