  1. Prob should be on a diff thread but what are Jacinta Corroll’s career highlights, stats, accomplishments?
  2. Really? That’s a big budget. And they need MORE $$ to hire additional staff?? That’s an average salary of $370,000. Take away $70,000 each and you have $4.5mil for operational cost and they still average $300,000. What’s the qualification for an employee ?? And the opinion of law enforcemant means very little?? 350% increase in allegations. And they anticipate more. We should all just quit all sports now before it’s too late. operates on a 24 $million annual budget, received around 7,000 complaints last year and has about 65 employees Nemchik said the center's policy is to make decisions free from influence of law enforcement. The 7,000 allegations received in 2023 mark around a 30% increase over 2022 and a nearly 350% increase over 2020.
  3. Who’s taking a ride day 1 of 2024. Post up some pics vids or just let us know. Plan on hitting the water tomorrow.
  4. Not sure the club is what @DaveHofert is looking for. Just small private lakes. No real boating or site seeing.
  5. Bills will probably center around the term “inboards” as descriptive language to ID boat type(s) being restricted. That’s why any restrictions on jetskis is dangerous for us as well. Personal watercrafts are defined as Class A inboard boats by the U.S. Coast Guard
  6. Preach on @Mastercrafter Using how much rope is coiled in the bottom of a boat for line length description was/is so crazy that even ESPN refused to announce in feet off when waterskiing was part of ESPNs Hot Summer Nights and in its heyday. To be fair, metric is used in tournament scoring in the US. But if pro skiers are in front of Joe public ..for the love of Pete ..announce in feet on or only metric. It’s like only telling the crowd that the jumper is X feet short of the record of X. And never saying how long his jump was.
  7. +1 for dock box. Look for used. I just sold one for half of new.
  8. Spent a few days in MN this past summer and had the chance to ski with a good friend . Got a look at the rope he was using and asked if he had another. Ended up using a rope I think he used to tubers but it was not worn, faded and dried out. When I got back to FL, I ordered and shipped an SLine to him before he has a chance to get out again. Scary what he was using .
  9. Popped up on FB. Looks like date night.

+ 1 for what @lpskier says. I run 2 side by side CIPAs and feel it’s the same side to side as the PTM but everything appears much larger in the duel set up. It does require longer window framing so a pass through windshield prob won’t accommodate both. I drive regularly with a PTM in one boat and the duel set up in mine. Crazy but I prefer seeing everything larger.
  11. I’m blessed to have a top notch driver that’s also my wife. One of the main reasons she became a great driver is that she wanted to. In my opinion there has to be a desire. What is the motivation…just to please you? Or is it of interest and a challenge that peaks her interest?. Where is her confidence level doing new things? How is she at accepting advice?? Or does she only hear it as criticism?? How does she deal with failure or the perception of failure? How is she with mansplaining? There are lots of factors to consider. But in general, finding ways to be crazy patient, already been mentioned, will go a loooong way with any new driver.
  12. @chaloux this may be a better option with less hours and mint condition https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1460614304497828/
  13. Go back and watch the pass. She had it even with that one ball. But did the smart thing and took the record vs risking not making the turn. But she was no later for 5 ball than the rest of them. Amazing
  14. @HortonOut of curiosity and assuming your collection is quite large, do you ever donate them to college ski teams??
  15. More bathrooms than garage stalls….🤔…nope
  16. A fixeruper. Trailer is worth close to half of asking price. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/363739662666939/?mibextid=6ojiHh
  17. 🤔 I gotta say I’m completely at odds with you on the Denali 3.1. I ran more 38s on that ski than all my other skies combined over a few decades. Maybe I was sent numbers that just worked. There were plenty to try. If I remember, they were not really looking to produce skis for the masses. And if memory serves me the Adams were mostly tossed into the fray of ski builders. Outed if you will, as some started to show up in the wild. So they went ahead and got a bunch of skiers at all levels to provide them feedback and learned from it which I think was maybe more of a goal then selling skis. Experimental fin settings was the order of the day back then and lots of them. IMHO it was a ski you had to accept as feeling different on the water than any other ski as well as feeling comfortable feeling different in order to appreciate it. A statement repeated by many that rode them. Oddball…?..perhaps. But as crazy as it may sound you could not pry that ski from my hands for anything. I still take it for spins now and then and it still rips. Can’t say the same for myself but for me it’s still a great ski to ride.
