  1. Size 10 shoe. Got size 11 vapor boot. They seemed a smidge loose at first but it seems like the liner has actually expanded a bit (I know my feet didn't grow) and now they fit perfect for my preference. I would go up 1/2 to a full size. These boots are super comfortable and supportive without having to crank the top bungies and therefore I have been confident in their release when needed. Also quality of build is superior to my buddies, to remain unnamed, similar style bungie boot.
  2. Guess they decided to build their second wake boat. Have Wake Tractor 1 and Wake Tractor 2 now. Check Facebook for video or someone post a link. It did not work for me.
  3. Heyday video facebook.com/heydayinboards/videos/548987351964423/ What? Now a WT-2. What happened to Ski Tractor?
  4. TXi with 5.7 has more than enough power. Very efficient hull. Also best family boat with largest bow and a nice sized rear locker/sunpad.
  5. Sanger was playing around with this process years ago as well. I wonder if quality of product is the real driver here, not saying this is a smoke screen, as VIP definitely improves product consistency. From what I hear Cali has some very stringent pollution laws. Maybe using this process will allow them to produce more boats while reducing emissions which may allow them to stay in Cali and not migrate out of state as some builders have done over the years. Thoughts...
  6. Wow, bare farm land around our area is $70,000 to $100,000 CDN/Acre. If this was for sale in our area it would easy be 3 million +
  7. I hear you @BraceMaker I like piece of mind and don't like surprises...new mufflers are going in.
  8. Thanks for the suggestions. Looks just like that just need a shorter version.
  9. No, need it with a 60 degree elbow on one end. I will try and load a pick if I can and dimensions.
  10. Having a hard time finding a new Primex muffler that was originally installed in the boat. Lots of places have the new Verna style muffler by Centex but would like the mufflers to match. Already have one new Primex. Needs its twin.
  11. Yup. Larger size would be the ticket. Judging from the swim lane set up it would be important to have the length of the line stay in tension. Might have to set up a few 'poles' or solid attachment points along the length of the line to accomplish the task.
  12. Think @Bdecker is on the right track. Just have to produce them in a larger size.
  13. There is a need out there obviously. Surprised someone has not made a system available commercially yet. I am on the same wave length as @Edbrazil but rather than round pipe make a triangularly shaped half submerged 'wedge' that would simulate a gently sloping shoreline that the waves would break over. Would need 2 cables likely. 1 running through the front and the other through the rear of the connected low pitch triangles to keep them from flopping over from the waves.
  14. Mike Suyderhounds Ski School in Northern California. Not on a small private lake but usually in a private cove on Lake Shasta.
  15. Morning Glass (8 AM) and the TXi just begging to break it. If this ends up being a long link I'm going to snap. Have tried everything to make it work. Horton please PM me if this is messed.
  16. I can only wonder if they are taking a bath at the low price of $27,000 just to move it.
  17. As I can no longer edit my post above I should mention that the model year that I skied behind was a 2000. They may have tweaked it since then. They mention on their current site that it has a 16" deadrise with a delta pad...this sounds the same as in model years past but don't know for sure. Would be cool if Sanger reduced the deadrise a bit and it softened the wakes some. However, with all the attention on boats that throw walls of water, I don't think this is going to happen.
  18. Skied behind it, a TXi, 2001 Response and 99 Sportster all summer. Sanger had the Scorpion motor. Lots of grunt and near 50 mph top end. Does take a bit wider arc on turn around, won't slide the back end, but not unmanageable. If still built with wood they went to all treated, non rotting wood in 1994. Very solid and good riding boat through rough water. 15-28 off wakes are firm and the ankles/knees take a hit. Remember the first time skiing behind it coming off the TXi at 28 off, thought my ski was going to break from the impact. Went back to 15 off where it was a bit softer but still harder than flatter bottom comp boats. Needless to say we all, even the Sanger owner, prefer skiing and ski better behind one of the Malibus. Great barefooting wakes though. Don't think they ever stopped producing this model. Been on their website all the years I remember.
  19. If not already mentioned...Port side ballast tank to even boat out when only driver in boat. Creatively placed so as not to displace storage space.
  20. Looks like fun. Plateform in no danger of becoming a tooth holder. Seen it done a few times.
  21. @sunvalleylaw Would say fumey. Don't want to breathe in the mist when spraying. Acid based, don't know but works awesome.
  22. On a muddy lake. Mix this at 3-4 tbsp per liter (1/4 gallon) spray bottle Spray on and brown comes right out then spray off. No scrubbing required.
  23. 4500 lbs in 20' has got to produce a fairly nasty longer line slalom wake I would think. My '08 VTX was 3500 lbs and while the slalom wake wasn't bad it was no match for a DD. This GS20 is another 1,000 lbs heavier. Hey but I haven't skied behind one...
