  1. @S1Pitts...pictures?? Having issues as well with over/under speeding and it settling in. Have installed a pretty heavy duty additional spring which helps but is still not locking in. Usually run in RPM mode because too frustrating in Slalom mode. Have 8.06 version of Wakeboard Pro Stargazer.
  2. The bow will stay drier in the TXi. Also it's almost a foot longer so more (bow) room.
  3. @oldjeep...overall good looking. Doesn't mean there isn't room for cleaning up the look of some areas. Heck any boat out there I bet everyone of us would have a nit pick here or there.
  4. If I had to guess I think it may look something like this Supreme S202 with a different wetted surface and different tower. Good looking boat! https://goo.gl/jEu0HP
  5. @Obrienslalom...interesting comments. Have noticed that this ski cuts through the 15 off wake with much less of a jolt than the old '14 Vapor. Don't know if it's because of the improved edge and angle or ski shape!? Used to be a bit apprehensive and guarded skiing behind my friends Sanger DX2. Now no issue.
  6. Yup. Agree. That has been my experience too.
  7. Order new stuff in the off season. That way always good to go when season starts even with delays or issues.

My friend has a 2003 Sunsetter LXi. Slalom wake almost the same as my 2001 Response(has the same wetted surface). Would say it is the best do all boat out there, especially if a good slalom boat is a must on the list.
  9. @escmanaze You tube Mastercraft Prostar. Utah Watersports has a good video of longer lines. Tried to post shortened link. First 2 people skiing 15'. Last guy 28' Not sure of speed.
  10. 4 sets in and love, love, love this ski !! I ski mostly 15' off, 34 mph. Very easy to ride turns very well if positioned either forward, neutral or back. No bad attributes. Just easier and faster than my prior '14 Vapor Lithium. I would go as far as to say that if you have an absolute top end ski, great, but if you are a longer line skier you are missing out if you haven't tried this ski.
  11. Nice boat! Nice colors. Have a 2001 Response and as far as I know this is the exact same hull. They may have made some subtle changes on the LXR. How does the wake compare?...is it same, better, worse?
  12. Looks like I picked up your boats brother. It's a 2001. You'll love the wake.
  13. @Stickman...am 5'11" and 185. Guessing of the three sizes offered 65,67,69 that they sell the 67" most often and therefore don't always stock the sizes that don't move as well??
  14. First ride on it tonight. Not great water but confirming what Horton said...easier get up, fast, less tiring and turns well. Last ski was the green Vapor. Am a 34 mph 15-22 off skier, 54 years young. Very happy with my Lithium Senate choice.
  15. Thanks for the review...good to know I should be very happy with this ski. Hope to get it wet sometime in the next week or so.
  16. Depends how far you throw back. Am generally a Malibu guy but love the older MC S&S. 1993 1985 2001
  17. Went that direction. Had a '14 Lithium Vapor and now a '17 Lithium Senate. Have not had a chance to get to lake yet with our cooler than usual temps so can't comment yet.
  18. Mid '80s. Crappy Life Jacket but had decent ski...Connelly HP behind a 14' with a 75 HP Chrysler. All I wanted to do was ski, ski, ski!! Pic in the North channel of Osoyoos Lake, BC, Canada.
  19. Loved our 140. Could see the slalom skier the whole time(longer line lengths not sure about short line). Wider field of vision=better.
  20. @Horton ... Have my '17 Senate Lithium in the garage waiting for its first ride. It has a super glossy bottom and top. They must have polished the molds to a mirror shine. Do you think it's speed comes from the smooth finish or the extra 0.2" width?
  21. I have none of those choices today so they all look great!
  22. Haven't got mine wet yet...sure is a beauty to look at.
  23. Malibu Marine in Kelowna, BC has 2 for sale $460 CDN. Sent you a PM with a link.
