  1. @Horton... just did 2 walking loops around the UVic site (Albert Dyck Park) today. Live about 5 min away. Cool.
  2. Sounds like it will still be a few months before the release.
  3. @scotchipman yeah that Lagoon looks like the only possible option other that the Ocean. Surprised a private lake has not been built there. As far as Hotel had good experiences at the Hyatt Zeva. Stayed a few times. Great location. If you can spring for a swim up room. Starbucks is also right across the street.
  4. Any of you ballers know of a place to ski around San Jose del Cabo, Mexico?
  5. Taken from ad copy... "The 2018 Response TXi has been built with Advanced Rudder Control—adjust the steering load and drive ski courses with the utmost consistency." Is this something new to adjust on the fly, something that can be adjusted easily while the boat is in the water, a new name for the adjustable rudder tab Malibu has had for some time or? @Chad_Scott
  6. Yeah, pretty interested in how this works out as well. From the skiers around here that have been behind the Centurion Carbon Pro they say it has a really nice slalom wake. With great wakes, an open bow and hopefully a noticeably lower price point than MC, BU and CC it may shake things up a bit. Even if tracking is not quite as good it doesn't really matter that much at the 15/22 length I ski at.
  7. @Bill22 Title changed to more accurately reflect the content.
  8. Must be close to the time when this new model makes its appearance. Anyone have news?
  9. Love my 2017 Lithium Senate think the 2018 is same shape. Never dumps me if I get forward and still turns well if I get a bit far back. Keeps moving doesn't stall. Made a pile of 15' and a handful of 22' passes this year. Very Happy!
  10. Getting one for next season. Could see that it would be a big help to move up the line. When your scrabbling at a shorter line length form goes out the window and it's hard to work on correct mechanics to make the pass consistently.
  11. Usually a 10 shoe and had the 2014 size 11 Vapor boot. Originally purchased size 10 but too short and tight. Now have the 2017 size 11 Vapor boot. Good fit.
  12. @andjules... looks interesting thanks for the link.
  13. Looking for a place to own and head down there for 4-6 months to escape the northern winter. So preferably a lock and leave place. Townhouse would be ideal. Not big, just a 2 bedroom, 1200-1700 sq. ft. A community with a club boat would be ideal. A low crime, good neighborhood a must.
  14. Wife likes the ocean I prefer a nice small slalom lake. Is there a place that has both in close proximity on or near the west coast. Cali or Mexico or maybe Texas that is affordable?
  15. A few shots that I believe I can share now of our July 12 Radar Factory tour. She's a beauty for sure.
  16. @eddie_roberts_jr what @Sivota asked. Love my 17 Senate Lithium but........ Yeah, you'll probably let us know when the time is right.
  17. Some of these sites are a bit remote. Meaning that once your done skiing there isn't much else to do close by. Nice to have shopping, restaurants and some other entertainment nearby so the family can do other things without having to drive an hour.
  18. Seen it at the factory on July 12. Looks awesome. Didn't get a chance to ski it. Did however get a chance, from the boat, to watch @brooks slam dunk 38 off on it though. Can't post pics or they may not let me buy a Radar product ever again. Actually saw a few other 2018 products and they are all very cool.
  19. Once in a lifetime opportunity to ski at Radar Lake. Wow, just wow. So thankful.
  20. Had the unexpected opportunity courtesy of @sullyski and @brooks to ski behind and drive the new Prostar as well as demo some Radar skis and tour the factory at the absolutely amazing Radar Lake site. Chris and Brooks went out of their way to spend time with us and explain all aspects of their excellent products. Even got a chance for a quick shot with @eddie_roberts_jr. Everyone in our group of 4 loved the Prostars' wakes, looks and roominess. It is definitely in my sites to purchase hopefully in the not to distant future. The Senates and Vapors that we skied also received positive comments. One Vapor was purchased and others will be when it's time to sell the skis we are on now. A big THANK YOU to Chris and Brooks for taking the time to host us "long liners". It is not something any of us will forget.
  21. 1) Talent 2) Light weight = faster acceleration and deceleration?
  22. Yup. A little wider up from but a fair bit wider through the mid section than my buddies S2.
  23. No experience with the OJ. Could be awesome. Have an Acme 13x12 (515) on my 2001 Response with 325 hp Monsoon. Perfect match. Am near sea level.
  24. @S1Pitts...get it, thanks. Will check it out next time I am out. It sucks that this is so sensitive to position. Last boat I owned had Zero Off. Argh...this is like listening to an 8 track when you're use to a CD.
