  1. Somebody please get rid of the guy in the speedo banner ad...the pendulum has swung too far the other way. @Horton ? @Brooks ?
  2. Maybe the question should be asked...@horton what is your favorite color?
  3. Someone, maybe a lot of someone’s, are busy in their machine shops right now trying to figuring out how to build and attach these micro tuners to other brands or prior year Nautiques. Probably not that difficult to make something to attach to a certain companies bracket that is already bolted to the transom.
  4. Cool tech and well thought out. Would be nice if the rear blast was split so it could be used to balance the boat and with all that drag hardware (hydro-brake and TFT-trough filling tuners) fuel burn will be increased. Not a fan of Sea-Dek but a personal preference. Other than that I think they nailed everything. The looks are unique and follow the in the same theme as the rest of the Nautique line. Well done!
  5. @vtmecheng maybe @brooks can clarify? I was under the impression that the 17 and 18 Senate were the same/similar bottom with new graphics?!
  6. The collectors will pick up the carbon version. Bet they maybe build 25 of them. The carbon version will give Nautique a chance to showcase what they are capable of and will keep pushing the rest of the manufacturers to keep pushing the envelope. Very cool. Can't wait to see it.
  7. Uhmm...we are decked out in dry suits for the next while here.
  8. If the Legends are similar to the 41 tails then my experience with the 41 tails is...red ones(purchased 3 years ago so problem likely fixed), short strap, kept popping open. Yellow ones, strap length good but Velcro still popped but not as often. Picked up Radar Vapor Boas. Problem solved.
  9. Can’t offer any opinion on Theory vs Senate but can say that I have a ‘17 Lithium Senate (Love it) and the ‘18 is the same mold with different graphics. Heard that the ‘18 Vapor shape will translate to the ‘19 Senates.
  10. Darn it...was hoping this would work out...and then there were 3!
  11. ‘07-‘15 Malibu VTX with Diamond Hull is about as good as it gets for a cross over.
  12. Might have been said already but need underwater rail system with pylon as a tow machine to eliminate the gas powered boat.
  13. 97 hull with 96 top? Or 96 hull and top built in 97??
  14. I had heard that the first house is being built or has been built.
  15. Kinda wondered about this place Too. Maybe it needs a few houses built there to get things going. Current quarterly fees are $774 I believe and a 2,000 sq. ft min. house size. Out of town a ways so that would reduce interest. However Lakeside Ski village is very close by and it is almost all built out. Someone will bite at those prices you would think.
  16. Hope someone makes a go of it but have seen them up close and the lines and look do not scream...got to have that! You have to be excited about something you’re laying down a lot of cash on and if you’re not excited about it you just won’t part with your money even if it is bargain priced. You can build a good looking or odd looking boat for the same price. Hey, there has been considerable effort made but I just don’t know if the execution rings true with buyers. Time will tell.
  17. Very cool. More tech on the fin side is long overdue.
  18. Love Sanger, solid built, track awesome, fast, have owned a few but they would be down the list a bit for best longer line slalom wakes.
  19. @savaiusini Good point about the S2 and Senate being different skis. Just blasted out a quick comment and was not insinuating that my friend liked the Senate better then his S2. He loves his S2 was just saying that he didn’t find the Senate objectionable.
  20. Not yet Sorry...was able to get some intel. Unfortunately it was confidential and any useful information I was asked not to share. I know, I know thanks for nothing! I can say the size, configuration, power and price point will make it contender. Don’t you wish these companies would only let you know a few months before something new hits? This drawn out waiting period sucks!!
  21. Found something kinda by accident that seems to be working. Was sitting in a hot tub a few weeks ago, jets on and I thought why not find a decently forceful jet and let it massage the area. The first day after it was a bit sore but as the days went on it felt better and better. The tendon area gets a good massage, the heart rate goes up from sitting in the hot water. All equals lots of blood flow into and out of the region. From the comments above that seems to be key in recovery. Now hitting the hot tub once/twice a week as well as doing stretches and release techniques. Happy with the direction this is going.
  22. A friend I ski with has an HO S2 and immediately liked my ‘17 Radar Lithium Senate first time out.
  23. Seattle had 2 Nautiques last year, open and a closed bow I think. No other DD represented.
  24. Get back to the gym, drop 10 lbs and stay healthy so I can enjoy the whole ski season no matter if I improve a lot or a little.
