  1. I didn’t want to ask or make the observation regarding what I was really after but guess I need to. You have an aluminum bar that has a slow continuous bend vs an aluminum bar that has a distinct bend point. The bar that has a slow continuous bend will have less of a chance of a repetitive use metal fatigue failure because a distinct bend point is more prone to stress breakage. The forces applied during skiing may not be great enough to cause one handle to fail earlier than the other. But it is probable.
  2. Thanks, but the still shot of Horton’s video and this pic from T Whisper look the same. So my assumption until someone does a side by side or one on top of the other pic is that the S-Lines has a more distinct bend point.
  3. Can someone that has both an curved (radius) S-Lines handle and a curved (radius) Masterline handle confirm the following; The Masterline radius handles I have used seem to have a gentle almost continuous curve to them. Looking at a still shot in the above video it appears that the S-lines radius handle has more of a noticeable bend/kink in one spot in the middle of the handle. Is there an actual difference? A still shot of both the handle brands stacked on top of each other would be nice to see. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

PTM 140. Had the 100 and OK but couldn’t see wide enough to catch all the skiing. Replaced with the 140 and…ahhh…that’s much better.
  5. The mid stretch Slines has the same amount of stretch as the Opt 2. After a season of use for both ropes I took them and attached them to a fixed point at the 28 off loop. The ropes were identical in stretch amount and felt the same while pulling and releasing.
  6. A few from different years. Last 6 from this years Herbs’ Cup. Poland keeping a tight line. Whit just outside the ball and KC engulfed in a pile of spray.
  7. So fun and entertaining! If you get a chance just go.
  8. ‘24 Senate Pro 67”. Very happy with this ski.
  9. @APB Radar Lake is a sweet place to demo the latest Vapor and Senates. Always a great time with @brooks and a few of my ski buds. Enjoy the day @APB!
  10. Love the new shape, improved in every way. Coming off a 22/23 Senate shape which was a good ski but I feel more balanced, controlled and confident on this new one. I predict that they will sell a lot of these. 60 year old skiing longer lines at 22-28 off, 32.3 mph.
  11. The Sunsetter LXi (NOT LX) is the boat you are looking for. My buddy had one. Lots of room, dry ride, great slalom wake. And with the wedge, a wake shaper and 1,000 lbs ballast bag between the rear seats and engine box can surf OK with it.
  12. Not a top 3 brand but I would imagine he will get a few orders. The name means Track 01 in Spanish.
  13. @DWThe weight and other specs in the link. https://alahua.mx/blogs/noticias/pista01
  14. Hey, we have all talked about someone producing a lower cost boat and throwing in a center drive has also been on some of our what if list…here it is. What a massive undertaking and a huge congratulations to Arturo and his team for the guts to tackle and complete this project.
  15. Had a 2001. Very nice boat overall. For its time the wake was very good. A bit of a bump at 22 but not bad at all. Good top end with the 325 HP monsoon so good for the barefoot crowd as well. topped out at 47 MPH. Decent ride too when the water got a bit rough. Malibu Australia manufactured a boat with that hull as late as 2021. Not sure if it’s still being produced?? Actually still a really good boat even by today’s standards although not as roomy as current boats. https://www.boatsales.com.au/editorial/details/malibu-response-txr-australias-homegrown-ski-boat-115204
  16. Yeah, me neither. Guessing this is somewhat widespread??
  17. A very expensive hobby if that’s what it is. FB Arturo Nelson or Alahua. IG alahua_ click on Pista01.
  18. @Broussard, responding to the comment above, isn’t PCM the usual power supplier for Nautique?
  19. How about the, think it was 86 Marine World, Vallejo, Cali stop?I was there and saw Scott Pellaton do a high speed barefoot run.Would be cool to see if the camera panned the crowd and be able to pick out my friend and I.
  20. To be more clear about my post above.Neither rope broke. They were both given a “break in” period of approximately 12 sets then the stretch test was done and it was observed and felt that both the Opt. 2 and middle stretch S-lines rope were identical in stretch characteristics. Sorry if the wording was confusing.
  21. Have an Opt. 2 and freinds have an mid stretch S-lines. Broke both in with approximately 12 sets.Attached both at 28 off and pulled hard on both at the same time on land. The feel and stretch amount was the same for both.Long range the ropes may lose stretch or deteriorate at different rates but don’t have any insight on that yet.
