@tc Thanks Tom! We were actually trying different down pedal timing/position at the last race and yesterday, the boat is just making crazy power at the hit and honestly I just don't have a perfect handle on it yet. @RAWSki carbon fiber paddle would be bad ass! Ours is just really light wood, like Balsa wood.

It was a fun day yesterday, definitely a different experience than where we normally run the boat. A huge thanks to Bob and John for letting us use the lake! I have a good short video but I'm not sure how to upload it here, but I did get a cool picture of it on the lift.

We do this with the race boat, the boat is on a "dolly trailer" where the wheels and fenders are tucked up underneath the boat.

Whenever you feel it is best for you, you will have more success when you are confident in your program. Also remember this is for fun and if you enjoy hammering away at 28's then go for it, It's your time on the water use it for what you like!

@Horton I think he's just some guy that skis at Ball of Spray Headquarters, AKA "Horton's Lake", AKA "Lake Wakesurf".

It's getting closer and thing are coming into place, we (mostly Bob) have really got some fun plans to make this a memorable event and keep everyone as involved as possible. One part that wasn't mentioned in the original flyer is the auctioning off of the skiers in the Head to Head, so even if you didn't make it in you can get a little skin in the game. Each skier that makes it in will be put up for auction, the proceeds of this part of the auction will be split 50% going to the fundraiser and 50% going to whoever purchases the skier who goes on to win the finals of the Head to Head.

Can't wait for this event, it's going to be a blast!

Got a chance to try out the ARC-S this last weekend and I was very impressed to say the least. A little about me: 34 mph skier ran 32 off pretty regularly last season but have only run it a couple times this year, I've ski'd on an early 66" quest for the last few years. I've tried some skis here and there since I've been on mine and every time I can't wait to get my bindings back on my ski, except this time I didn't want to even think about getting back on my old ski. The ARC-S has some great characteristics it carries a ton of speed out of the turn even if you don't finish in the best position. Any other time I have tried what would be considered a "fast" ski I felt like they were twitchy or unstable, this ski didn't feel that way at all, it gave me a stable confident feeling from the finish of the turn to edge change. All in all looking forward to more sets on it and thinking the old ski might have run its last pass for me.

For me the video has been a huge help, of course I was nervous the first time I was filmed and to be honest it wasn't the best when I watched it. Now I am glad when it's on and happy to watch and see what I can improve on.

I know this won't win me the wakeeye, but I like the last design.

I would think you would have enough just of your own.

Why would I give up something I'm great at to get better at something I will never be great at?
