  1. The bunks on my hydro hoist are carpet covered, and I've had no problems with it.
  2. If you have a tower use the tow point on it, and we generally went 28 or 32 off. The tower tow point works well to help lift them out of the water. We always have a few key things for them to remember-: Look up, get up, look down fall down, and the other is say your fav food three times before you start to stand up..... Pizza...Pizza... Pizza then stand up.
  3. Our water ski club hosts an adaptive water ski day on Fontana every year with the Patricia Neal foundation. Its a beautiful lake, very clean, and very deep. Its not uncommon to see lake levels of 500' in places.
  4. Move the front binding back a couple of holes and see how much that changes it wanting to roll on edge.
  5. Our 2005 SN 206, decent slalom tug and the family enjoys it.
  6. Response LX would also be a solid choice. 99' and newer had the trunk, most all will be fuel injected.
  7. My wife said no thanks to the rear seat in the prostar, no place for her to lounge on.
  8. I've stopped in and looked at it. It is the owners promo boat and it looks to be cared for as you would expect a promo boat to be. If you like yellow this is your boat.
  9. An old wise friend mad this comment to me and It's been true form. You can live where you want to live, and do what you have to do to live there, or you can do what you want to do and live where you have to live do what you want to do. That being said, Raleigh NC area is a nice place to live with a nice tourney lake, and several private sites to ski otherwise, and not to mention lots of pro skiers call it home and live there year around.
  10. Very impressive operation, considering the specialty product he is making it's really pretty amazing that the cost is where it is.
  11. I've looked at that one in person, and considering it, but wanting to see what else is out there. I am looking at SIA and Only inboards, and the other usual places.
  12. Looking for a nice used SN 200 OB, willing to travel for the right boat. Would prefer standard gauges to the Link 2.0. Price range is around 40K. Email or PM here with any info, thanks. Jeff
  13. Would you be Interested in a 67" strada if the previous offers dont work out?
  14. I was having all sorts of problems entering the course this year, I either pulled out to much, and carried to much speed into the 1 ball, or turned in to late or to early. One of Gordon Rathburns news letters had this suggestion on gates and it helped some, any thoughts? The Parrish gate has you pull out medium wide and pin your right arm (elbow) to your right side as you coast. When you roll in for the gates, the right arm never leaves your side. The handle never reaches any farther to the boat than your attached right elbow allows. At the end of your coast you want most of your weight on the front foot. Start in with the water breaking at the front of the binding. You then lean over, but not with your right shoulder down too much. It is nice to be a hair open. You will find that your attached right elbow will take a lot of the pressure from the boat and because it is attached, you will get some extra power and width at one ball. Try this and you will have better starts. Check out these great shots of CP in Acapulco.
  15. Sold via sia, thanks for the exposure.
  16. Thanks, that's what I thought you were saying but wanted to confirm. Guy on SIA has the 2013 66s and 64s for 275 brand new old stock, and I was thinking about picking one up, but I think I will pass. I dont need another distraction.
  17. @Horton‌ whats the ugly duckling comment mean? I'm not sure I follow, I can be a little slow at times.
