  1. You should jump again.... All it takes is one to be addicted all over again
  2. I always hunt for a deal. I also tend not to buy new.
  3. For me I think that The focus needs to be on 3 event skiing and crowning an overall champion. as it sits it seems that the goal is to have a long drawn out event that appears to be a gigantic moneysink.
  4. I would trade success in business for more bouts... I would drink more whiskey
  5. I can still log in... Not sure if anyone can see my posts @Horton‌

    What?

I feel a burning desire to take this to some places that are chick full of fisherman and play metallica at 7am when they start fishing
  7. http://m.dummies.com/how-to/content/the-different-types-of-fluid-flow.html For those of you who would like a basic explanation of this concept.
  8. @Horton‌ I think you have the right idea, but are taking it to the wrong end. What I suggest is a changing of how we run the rankings. All level 8 skiers and up are required to ski in the open or MM division. No changes suggestions or substitutions. They don't have to ski regionals to qualify for this. Everyone below this line skis regionals to qualify and then goes on to their age ranked nationals. 3 event skiers who are going to try to ski overall are broken up by their 3 event overall score. This allows the "elite" pros who dislike having regionals to ski their "elite" event without having a qualifier and allows everyone else to ski their division as normal, with the added bonus of bumping the guys who normally drop down and win age divisions out of the process.
  9. The Canadian geese don't like duck decoys as well. I have a few perminant decoys at my place now to keep them away
  10. @Wish‌ cleaning a turkey is just as easy as cleaning a duck or a goose you "accidentally" hit when you are skiing.
  11. @kstateskier‌ you have it all wrong. @Horton‌ has a magical fin trick that almost always gains you balls in the course.
  12. Almost everyone could use a better stack, not overturn the balls (slamming them like I tend to do), and almost everyone could use a few hundred more reads through the handle control article that for some reason i can't find on my phone.
  13. I don't always ski on the exact ski I buy, but I figure out what I need to know about the stick before purchase. Some sticks such as the a3 I would have to ride before I buy based upon what I've heard about the ski
  14. @Wish‌ I can point you to more than a few that are full on members but without guest sets wouldn't have but 5 or 6 skiers ski in any given week.
  15. @Horton‌ we all know places where the boats run less than half a day, they have members who haven't shown up to ski in months and they set the price of entry at more than a house at the other sites would cost to purchase, so I can see @chris_logan‌ 's point. I am always grateful for my friends who let me come ski at their private sites, but the reasons pointed out in this thread are why those of us who ski at my open water site will let anyone who shows up with gas money ski for gas.
  16. I highly doubt that cable wakeboard gets us anywhere other than throwing good money after bad
  17. I've got one of the red and blue ones at the house
  18. @Luzz‌ show us the other data. I think jump will telling about where we are as a sport.
  19. I would pay good money and then some to remake some of my old favorite skis
  20. it's amazing to see how people can keep doing our sport for so many years
