  1. I have a Senate-C i picked up last year. I think it's a great ski - i ski about 6 sets per year in the course and ran 28off at 34mph full pass last year and couldn't run close to 22off the year before on my connelly rocket. If i could do it again, for the price point, i would stay with the senate-c or would maybe have demo'd a vice. Plus, with strada bindings, you have a setup that will be greta for a while.
  2. That's a good idea. i could always cut the existing insole and just use the rear portion under the orthotic as well.
  3. I am trying to figure out how to put a small lift in the heel of my rear foot of a strada binding. What would be the best method and material to use....eg. a foam piece under the liner or nylon washers....etc. please recommend something...thanks
  4. Such a useful tool to use when thinking and preparing for next season. it really allows you to better understand all of the terms and techniques we're supposed to use. his counter-rotation is amazing. Definitely would pay for a library of male and female pros to study and compare.

  6. I am taking a tip in february to miami and was wondering if there is much skiing available then as well as what places are the best and closest to get a few sets in?
  7. I'd look at the Senate-C as well. I started the season this year going from a connely rocket to a senate C with strada boots at 34mph and went from 15 off to 28 off in 6 sessions in the course. ran a full pass at 28 off on my last pass of the year in the course. It's a forgiving ski and plenty fast. wish i could have had more course time, but 28 off was my goal for the year and i ran it.
  8. Anyone know if Jaime Beauchesne is around this season and/or skiing the worlds?
  9. What bindings are you riding? Will it be the same for all tests?
  10. Just bought a Senate-C with Double Stradas, looking forward to trying them. My brother rides stradas and really likes them. Had i bought an HO ski i would have gone with the exo system likely. But for any other ski, and overall to be honest, the stradas seem like a great design and unlike the HO system easily mount to almost any ski.
  11. I am 6'3" and about 205lbs. and have been looking into a Senate C among others. would you recommend a 67 or 69 senate C? I only ask b/c most wider skis, you drop the length as far as i can tell and a 69" ski seems quite large.
  12. Are there any pictures of the new graphics for the 9960? i heard there are going to be a couple colour options...true?
  13. I know a lot of people have said that there is duty on skis if bringing them into Canada. I just wanted to confirm that there is definitely duty on American Made skis as well??? Â It wouldn't make sense that there would be for skis made in the USA (China I understand) but I've been told duty does apply. Can anyone confirm this??
  14. I appreciate all the input. I'm coming from a connely rocket, so i imagine it's safe to say i'll be getting on something pretty different and likely much faster no matter what i buy. I've skied 6 sets in my life in the course and got through 22 off, so breaking 28 off is my goal for the new season on a new ski. and I intend to increase my course skiing this season dramatically. i figured there would be some good advice from some seasoned skiers for a guy my size and this will definitely help me with buying something un-demo'd, so i welcome all advice.
