  1. Turns out buying a boat is harder than selling one! We sold our boat in one day. But the last 2 guys that I've offered to buy their boat....they want me to wait 2-3 weeks while they find their next boat. Moving on.
  2. I have scoured the internet and can not find the schedule. Can anyone help? If someone could post the schedule here, it would be appreciated!
  3. That's an offer you can't beat @rawly!
  4. We tried the suggested 3 blade on an MC we demo'd last weekend. Boat barely got to 36 at the pre-gates....and this is NOT a short set up. Other times the boat would surge right before the gates. Went as far as to test it with plus setting on and off. The only noticeable difference was that the plus setting throttled the skier more when loading in the course. This REALLY confused me bc my understanding was that the plus setting was only supposed to be an increased entrance speed. Maybe the boat couldn't get it done and was making up later. I have no idea.....but the speed of the boat coming into the course was inconsistent. As far as steering goes....I think I've figured it out. In my opinion, there is a lag in response from driver input on the wheel to boat response. B/c of this, you need to be 1/2 step ahead of the skier to not get behind. When I would torque the rudder a little earlier, I found that less input was in fact better....but it had to be done earlier than with other manufacturer's boats. My $0.02

  8. @livetoski I'll burst @MattP's secrecy bubble.....
  9. @rawly Lots of interest in the first day, but no deals yet!
  10. I hear a lot of "dont's" in your self talk. Basic sport psychology will tell you to never speak in the negative. So instead of saying, "don't drop your head/shoulders", say to yourself "keep your head and shoulders up". (Or something similar). Sounds silly, but it's a proven technique that makes a difference! Congrats by the way!

  12. @skibug We had this issue with the promo Malibu at Collegiate Allstars. The fuse swap fixed the problem.
  13. Sean's 38 off pass Sean's 39 Off pass
  14. Just tied the boys 2 National Record with a score of 2@39 in Palm Bay today! Sean skis and trains at Lake 38 with @skiep‌.
  15. Satellites are specifically addressed a couple pages in. But I dont see anything that specifically mentions minimum number required. It does say that you can receive 4 satellites at the same time at any place on the earth. http://www.usawaterski.org/speedcontrol/zerooffpresentation.pdf
  16. @rico226 Do you still have the Fogman shells? If so, you could mount them to @mmosley899's OB4 system and would probably feel no significant change from your Fogman system. Since you live right down the road, I bet you could come try it out and see what you think. It would be a worthwhile pursuit in my opinon!
  17. @maddog You can most likely mount the Exo shells to the OB4 plate. You would have to drill through the bottom of the shells....but no big deal. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a tunnel on the bottom of those boots? The question is if the ob4 plate would fit in that tunnel. If not, you'd probably have to trim off the plastic that creates the sides of the "tunnel". I bet if you send your boots to @mmosley889, he could figure something out for those shells.
  18. My fin is at 6.925 tips 2.500 .740 slot Wing 8 I'm 36 mph. In my opinion, the shorter the line gets, the better this thing skis.
  19. We went to a 7 and still had some concerns from our 2 150 ft jumpers. Promo owner said we should've gone to an 8 instead of increasing jump letter
  20. On that note, what power factor are you guys running for the 5.7 MC? I started at 6 and quickly bumped to 7. Was getting good times but was getting multiple complaints about the boat feeling weak from the second wake to the ramp. Several of our longer distance jumpers went up 3-5 letters from their standard selection.
  21. Yep. Happened to us yesterday in our tournament....only once though. Boat was freshly mapped on the jump course before the tournament.
  22. @Chad_Scott your comment about pylon height and roll makes a lot of sense. As I said before, the boat left me baffled. It seems that what the driver perceives the boat to be doing and what it's actually doing aren't the same...which leads to the frustration that I experienced this weekend. Thanks for the insight.
