  1. I'm looking for a place to ski a course near Sebago Lake in Maine Next week while on vacation I’m an AWSA rated driver, men’s 4 skier, Manufacture of Fogman water ski bindings will ski mornings, day, or evening. We will be headed up Saturday 8/18/12 and leaving 8/28/12 Please e-mail rc.machine@hotmail.com call or text 585 233-6064. Thanks Rob.
  2. This is a great article! http://www.usawaterski.org/pages/Instructional%20Articles/Slalom/ColdWaterRecommendations.pdf
  3. I always make sure the boat gets dried off when it goes up on the lift and "Eagle 1 wax as you dry" is applied while drying it off, Prop the engine cover open and let it air out,
  4. I hear a lot of good things about the Reflex front boot for RTP users, But I have seen several injuries because when you release from the reflex plate you hit the front shell with your back foot, ankle or leg. am I the only one that is seeing this?
  5. I have seen several injuries, even lost a best friend to a water ski accident, If not for yourself, use a handle guard for your family and friends, make sure you check your gear and water/course conditions before you get in the water. Praying for Ron and stay positive!
  6. Thoughts and prayers for Ron and his family and hoping for a speedy recovery.
  7. I know she is riding a Goode, is that her old Goode? 9900? Nano?
  8. Installed the new Sans, Carbon fin and foil, the ski is more responsive and faster across the wakes.
  9. I have a Fin on the way from Sans, Any advise on fin settings, Alum vs Carbon?
  10. They both ski very much the same, but I do think the 9700 is just a little faster. PB is on the 9700 by 1/2 buoy. How can I get a Sans Carbon fin? any dealers in the US?
  11. I just measured my Razor fin, its .075 thick and my Horton fin is .100 thick, I would hate to Mill or sand the Carbon fin knowing it will affect the performance of the fin. Ed, Can you measure the thickness on your Sans Rival fin? My goal here is to make the Razor a little more forgiving in the turns, I always used a Horton fin on my Goode 9700 until the ski broke.
  12. Is there a carbon fin that will fit in the Razor fin box? Or is there a fin box that will work on the Razor?
  13. I have a Horton carbon fin and thought about trying it on my 2A66 Razor, Has anyone played with the idea?
  14. If your on hard shells, start with at least a 1/8" thick lift under the rear foot heel then try it under both, I found that I like using 1/8" lift under both heels. felt like it got me over the ski a little better. I have set up bindings for customers that use a 1/2" lift under the rear heel due to an injury, Comes down too what ever works for you but you have to try it to see for yourself. try and get the spacer your using under the boot not in the boot.
  15. Go with the original Fogmans, you can still get them, RCM makes a G10 boot mounting plate and adapter plate thats light and does not affect the flex of the ski. they last for years and can be modified by Fogman to fit your needs. The adapter plate makes for an easy set up or contact Rob at RCM he will mount them for you, rc.machine@hotmail.com
