    The whole point of this thread is political. If Fox News told theirs viewers that SafeSport was good, this thread wouldn’t exist.

    It really seems to be more of a post about hating the government. Safesport didn’t drop because of an over reaching government, but because people suck that had the power to stop the abuse. And the people who suck because they believe the sexual predators or the gaslighting that happens on the predators behalf. Victims matter, but nobody really cares beyond lip service.

    @The_MS is good at beer delivery. He always hooked me up and I had a microphone. Lol. Just take the course, put the computer on mute and call me when you need the answers. I’ve taken it 3-4 times as required by my boys soccer club.

    Law enforcement has been abysmal in sexual predator cases. It’s one of the reasons safesport exists. Larry Nassar was brought to just because of a newspaper reporter. The police, FBI, MSU, USA Gymnastics all failed the victims after learning of their concerns.

    The details are kept from the public on purpose to help the victims. Most sexual assaults aren’t reported. This offers a safe space for victims to tell investigators what happened to them.

    @The_MS rocks. A long time ago they put him in the boat for boys 2 at regionals. The event lasted forever. Needless to say, we needed to get him some IPA stat after he got out of the boat.

    So taxing all tournament entries will solve that? Except families, they get discount and don’t pay their fair share of the tax.

    Well said @bishop8950 . All the training in the world won’t help until people start believing the victims account of the attack. For some reason, humans tend to believe the predators who have the most to gain by lies that smear and traumatize them again. Maybe capital punishment for all those who gas light the victims would help?

    However, I need to be safe sport certified to be involved in youth soccer.

    That’s more of a reflection of the death of competitive skiing. Everyone could easily take the course in between rounds at a tournament.
